Is 0.50$ an hour good for a beginner?

Hi everyone
Well, i recently started off making money online..i am kind a new to these things...anyway i like writing and i want to be a good writer and i tried my luck in task section here in mylot and made a good sum thanks to the task provider...i was approached by one of the task provider to write for her..since she has tons of article and has no control over who picks article her..now i dont mind doing it..but the thing is those articles are very boring..each 160 words and per article rate is 0.25$ that is very low according to me..i can do 2 article in one hour, thus i would be making 0.50$ per hour...would you as a budding writer be willing to do this kind of job..i am in dilemma right now? one part of me suggesting that i can do it for money even though its less, its still something..other part of me is saying this is not worth it? which part would you choose? Please help....i am genuinely confused with myself...

I think it depends on how badly you need the money or if you actually have a market that pays more. If you can write somewhere else for more money, why spend the time working for fifty cents an hour?
If I were you, I'd go looking for other markets first, then if you can't find anything that will pay you that much, go back and do it.
Or, even if you can write somewhere else for more, you might want to do this just for a break.

0.5$ per hour, that's good enough for the start. where you wrote your article?

Although generally I almost never run task for me 50 cents a day is a good record. I, however, those few times I have tried in the task, I always run very simple ones, where you get paid just 2 cents caduno. The reason why I do not do the tasks that could be paid better, it's because I'm not being a native English speaker, probably spelling mistakes and so the task I would not validated. However do not rule out that I could try at least once.

Thanks God for your success in earning at least 0.50c per hour. For a beginner it is an achievement. Myself I have not even earn that much yet. Do be patient as I am. I am now contributing my article on weight loss issue with Bukisa.com,Triond,RedGage.com, Shvoong and etc. Although they have not paid me a single cent yet I am still submitting my article to them. hi, I agree the rate should be higher but doing .50 in an hour is really good i guess unless you have other offers then you can go for it, so good luck in your articles, and topics, but what happend with your blog, started yet or no, any topics there you wrote in there?

thanks lifes..i was planing to start on my blog but this offer came in the way and also the summer plans..so as of now i've postponed its work and want to make it worthwhile and show my fullest capacity via blog post..thanks for the advice..some other offers are being given to me but they are comparatively less in quantity, but this is an insane offer..i guess i should start my work on both the article and blogpost

I think that is a bit low, to be honest. I have done content writing like that in the past, and have accepted rates as low as $1 an article, mostly because I really needed the money.
On the other hand, 160 words is not a lot of words. So you might get faster at doing the articles, too.

For beginner, that was good.
But try to make a blog, if you like to write.
It will make more money for you again and again.

you are beginner and 0.50$ is not less for a beginner.but if you want money urgently then try to get the articles that will pay you more.i say that first search internet,there are tonnes of site that pay you for writing articles.then compare some sites and work on site that pay you more.but 0.50$ is not a bad amount for beginner.so open your search window and search for most payable website.
