making pom pom doll / myLot

our angry bird pom pom doll - my nephew and I made this pom pom lol, he was really enjoy making the pom pom and he wants to make it again next week,

Im babysitting my sister's son because my sister is working on saturday. So my nephew really wants to make pom pom angry bird as he seen in mall, but I really have no idea how to make a good pom pom doll. Here is what we make a pom pom angry bird. he glued the eyes, the mouth and the eyebrows

. He said next saturday he wants to make it again...so crafter around the world, would please help me making a good pom pom doll. I do not have the pom pom maker so we make our pom pom using cardboard. happy crafting

wow that is cute, I think you can make video tutorials on how to make them, I mean you can make a crafting channel in youtube, if you got youtube partnership you might be able to make lots of money.By far what are the other birds in angry birds have you done? I recognized that you created the iconic red bird, I think aside from angry birds, you can make a pom pom doll out of this character named kirby.

Hello CaptAlbertWhisker, thanks for the response and for the suggestion to make partnership with youtube. I dont have the video tutorial yet but hope I can make it soon, there are some video tutorials that I want to make, like how to make brooches, hair clip, etc. It's my first pom pom doll, so I have not make other kind of doll. The kirby character is really cute! Thanks for the inspiration, my nephew is looking forward to make another pom pom doll.

that's the way you do it, cardboard was the way us old timers made pom poms, you think we had them back in our day? The more yarn, the thicker pom pom.

Hello ElicBxn, thanks for the tips the more yarn is the thicker & I think the thicker is the better. Yesterday I saw pom pom maker in a shop and it cost about $7 so I would rather make cardboard to make pom pom instead of buy it, my friend suggested me to use old/broken CD to create pom pom but I have not try it. My nephew really likes making pom pom doll. so again thank you for the tips
