My earnings are gone.

I don't really know what happened. The last time I logged in myLot, which was a month ago, I still had $23. I wanted to wait for it to reach $25 before I could request for pay out, but when I logged in now I was shocked to see only $0.06. Is it some kind of a "punishment" for being inactive? I'm sorry but I am totally clueless.

If you really did log in a month ago and you then had $23, the first thing to do is to look here: http://www.mylot.com/nr/earnings_p.aspx and also check your PayPal account. Yesterday (13th April) was 'pay day' and any earnings due to be paid from the end of March were distributed then. As others have said, the rules of MyLot (as detailed both in the Terms and in the FAQs in the "Earnings" section) say that if you don't log in during a period of 90 days (3 months) you will forfeit any outstanding earnings. You do NOT need to post anything or do anything more than simply log in at least once every 90 days to retain your earnings. That being said, many people forget how long it was since they last logged in. Your profile only shows when you actually posted anything and (apart from very recently), that seems to have been over four months ago. If you have checked the link above and your PayPal account and really feel that a mistake has been made, you should make an enquiry using the Contact link http://www.mylot.com/o/contactus.aspx (scroll to the bottom of the list and select 'Other').

sometimes the moola can be lost - moola lost is a very sad thing
Maybe you have been away for more than one month? The thing happened to me and I was really close to pay out! :( So I was rather sad, but now I'm trying to get my first payout in mylot. Please check the TOS - it says if you have been away for a while it will wipe out all your earnings.

if you do not read the guidelines y es it will happen over and over you must learn the rules here to keep your earnings safe,'the magic number is 90 days, so you do not come here for months do not read the information that would help you then complain that you lost money? It says 90 days it is not vague both of you really need to read the mylot information, why do you think its there for if you do not take advantage of it? I was once new but I did manage to read all the information as it helped me to learn how to use mylot and earn and also have fun,.I am not scolding you but trying to help you to not have this happen again to either of you okay? hugs from hatley

Didn't you already reached payout? Is your payment preferences really $25? If you had been away for only a month, I don't think yours earnings will just disappear like that. However, if it's already more than a month then, I can't say things for sure. I hope you only got your payment through your PayPal instead of your earnings totally disappearing...

I was a member of MyLot for more than 3 years already. I was not very active during the first two but I check in time and again. I guess that's what save my $0.30 from disappearing into thin air...

@SinfulRose yes it's really $25. I already contacted the admin, and I hope to get some response. @January5th1960, but I am pretty sure I logged in once in a while just to check my earnings.

You might like to check your payment preferences once again. May be they are ten dollars? Being away for a month will not affect you in any way.

It's zero. :( And it's weird because I think myLot mistook me for a new user? I got this message at the bottom of the earnings page.

Those are your April earnings. Check your March earnings. Also check your preferences http://www.mylot.com/nr/editPayment.aspx and see whether the amount there is 10 dollars or 25 dollars.

Hello mjcookie, Sorry for this bad news, but your earnings are probably forfeited if you have not logged in myLot in the past 90 days : http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#21 It would have been better to request your earnings once reached the minimum payout threshold of $10.

Oh, I didn't know about that. My fault then. Too bad. It took me two years to generate those dollars. Thank you for informing me. Guess I'm gonna have to start all over again.

It is an important sum. At your place, I would hit the "contact" link at the bottom of the page, and I would plead my case : after all, you reached the minimum payout long ago, and myLot can perhaps make an exception for you.

I am sorry for your earnings. Yes if you do not log in they will take them basically. I hope that you can make it back soon though, I would just log in and try to post you know so that you can be active. I know there are things that come up and you are not able to do that. I hope that everything works out for you and Good Luck!

Now sorry but I think this is odd as if you have not set your payout limit to higher denominations than you will automatically be paid when you cross $10 when payments are processed and no request is needed I can say it from personal experiences and they work like clock and I just yesterday got paid.so better contact for support and explain your problem..ask for a check..good luck

If we are inactive for three months then we forfeit our earnings and this is the case with this user as their last activity dates back six months.

That message appears at the bottom left of each user's profile. Once they have not logged in for more than 60 days it will appear at the top on the right.

I seem not to be seeing this information on profiles anymore. There used to be a line near the top that said "This user was last active on ____, " but I can't seem to find it today. I used to check it before sending a friend request. Where is it on the profile, since I seem to miss it when I look?

Well, what you say, it surprises me and saddens me at the same time. I personally have never encountered a similar problem. Even among my friends me was Mylotters reported a malfunction of this site. Of course, losing more than $ 20, is really frustrating after all the effort you made to put together such a sum! Have you tried to contact the staff, or administrator? Surely there should be a rational explanation to this anomaly. You know me'm really sorry for you!

Well, it is shock to me too if i was you. $23 could not be gone, better you check back your account again to see what happened. And then you can contact with mylot admin to ask about it. From what i know, being inactive for 1 month or one year is not problem, I used to be inactive for 1 year but the amount in my account was still same. I hope your problem will be solved soon. Good luck.

Since I know 90 days of inactivity wipes out the earning and you have to start over, I try to log in every day, and I usually try to answer in at least one discussion. That keeps me in the habit of checking in, I stay in touch with my friends, and the need to log in doesn't slip my mind. I don't think I ever log out. I hope it turns out as has been suggested -- that your settings went back to $10 without your knowing it and that you were paid. Please keep us posted as to how this turns out.

Try to take up the matter with Mylot admin by message. As you have passed the minimum payment level of $10, you can request for generous considerations on the matter.

I am quite shock to look at this message. I dont quite undertsand that the reason your money is gone? cus you do not log in the past 90 days? but your head description says that you do not log in only a month....so could you please let me know if you know why your money is gone. So it can also show people to prevent this problem. BTW, you say that you spend two years to get $20, that also shock me too.....(I do not know when I can be able to get $20 from mylot)

I used to get about a $15 payout every two months, but i have slowed my activity a lot and now I'm lucky if I make ten cents on an active day. I come here mainly to socialize now. To make a payout in a month I believe, based on personal experience, that you have to spend hours a day on mylot, and whereas I put in a lot of time at the beginning to get to 500 points, after that I slowed down to what I had time for.

It has never happened to me. Could it be that you have opened two accounts by mistake and is referring to the second account now. Anyway you can resolve these issues by writing to myLot. Also it is better to transfer the money when it is $10 and keep it in monbookers or paypal to build up.

Did you still have it set to $10.00? If so when mylot paid yesterday it was paid out to you. So it's in your paypal most likely. Be sure to go to the preferences and change it to a $25.00 threshold for next time.

Gush.....I don't know what to say but definitely this is very painful, you were almost at $25 just $2 left, how overwhelming for me to hear this but anyways I hope you get to make such back and even more. We all know here that 90days inactivity makes Mylot delete your account. Feeling so bad you lost such an amount of money that ain't easy to gather here.

Yes, it is definitely a very bad news to all the mylot users and You need to contact immediately to ADMIN about this matter. I think you haven't log in for more than months so this problem crated.

Well, mylot pays money to its active members. This means that if you are inactive for about month(that is 90 days) then your earnings could be cleared.I hope that my advice could be hopeful.
