Liverpool make it to the FA Cup final by beating Everton 2-1!!

Liverpool's hope of winning a Cup Double is still alive after they came back from behind to beat Everton 2-1. Jelavic opened the scoring for the Toffees capitalizing on a defensive error. Just when it was looking that Toffees would hold on to this lead, Distin made a defensive error and presented a gift to Suarez whose good finish made honors even on the night. The winner came late in the day through a Carrol header. Carrol had 2 great chances before this to finish off the match, but failed to hit the back of the net, but won the decisive header to finish off Everton. Now Liverpool await the winner of Chelsea vs. Tottenham for the final. Cheers! Ram

Wow! Oh My G-d! So Liverpool could play Chelsea? Yikes. both are my ex's teams! I'm surprised that Suarez helped with the win! Well, well, well! I'm happy for Liverpool. Thanks for the update. With hockey playoffs I have totally forgot about soccer/football.

I think that Liverpool has done well in the domestic cups and I also think that no matter which team they will meet in the final they will bring the cup home. It is just a feeling, but Liverpool is a great team in the finals and usually if they qualify for them, in most of the cases they would lift the trophy. At least this is how I know things are.

I think Liverpool has a good side for Cup tournaments. They are always up for one off matches or matches against top sides. It is the day to day grind that they have not really not performed in. In matches against lower sides, they see a bit disinterested and they have paid a big prize for it in the League and will miss out on Champions League action for another year next year. Cheers! Ram

Well, before the game it was clear that bout teams are gonna put their heart and souls for this semi-final, and that's exactly what we saw. The bout teams presents us a wonderful football and I think that bout teams deserved to go to the final, but I guess Liverpool deserved it more. Everton started the first half very good, when Jelavic scored in the 24th minute of the game. Liverpool had one of the worst seasons in their club history, but I guess that doesn't count at all in their FA Cup matches. Winning the FA cup is their only chance for a spot in UEFA. I think the final would be a great pleasure for the football fans. I hope Chelsea would face Liverpool on the final. Chelsea are my favorites.

Yes, it was a classic derby match. But I thought in the second back Everton sat back and faded away. Liverpool took advantage of it and came back into the game. Cheers! Ram
