Whenever you see someone hurt because they made a mistake, would you avoid doing the same mistake or would you rather find out yourself? I'm a cautious person and I really don't like to get hurt, but on the other hand you'll only know how it's really like when you've experianced it yourself.

I learn alot from my own mistakes, sometimes from other's too. I've seen some of my friends and relatives did huge mistakes, over and over again and never learn how to avoid it. All I can do is give suggestion and support, and try to not do the same mistake. I know that we can not be perfect in everything and mistakes is a nature as human being, without it we will never learn that what we've done something that we should avoid. Mistakes exist to teach us for better future.

Yes,as what the common adage says, " Life is so short, You can learn from your mistakes, Learn also from the mistakes of others." Admittedly, I'm the type of person who is really so cautious in everything that I do, We don't want to make mistakes but sometimes mistakes are so helpful so that we are going to grow. The bottom line is that, Learn from the mistakes of others and learn from your experience too.

Hi, in2day, Personally, I think someone would have to be a little silly to watch someone make a mistake and then go and do the exact same thing just to experience it for himself or herself. If you know it's going to turn out badly, why would you do it, right? However, it is true that sometimes, even when we see someone do something that leads to their getting hurt, we think, "That could never happen to me! Now that I've seen that person do it, I can be sure not to make the same mistake and everything will turn out all right!" Also, sometimes we do not completely understand the situation in which the person made the mistake, and so we can end up doing the same thing, being completely unaware that we are repeating the past. So, I think the best thing to do is to try to figure out what went wrong for the other person and then do your best to try to avoid doing the same thing.

I always keep an open mind be it my experience or other people. Learning from the mistakes of other people is also good. I do learn a few from them. But like you said some lessons are best learned by experience. But let me tell you that sometimes the lesson we learn can be forgotten to and we will end up repeating the same mistakes .
