I just logged onto the internet a few moments ago and heard the sad news that former Bee Gee, Robin Gibb is in a coma right now. I read this news article: http://www.nypost.com/p/news/international/bee_gees_star_robin_gibb_in_coma_H5BSzmyjcFt0bK0ct7fWlJ And it seems that he is in a coma right now and they suspect pneumonia as well. I know that he has been treated for cancer lately too. It is just a shame to hear such sad news. I hope that he pulls through but you never know. They don't seem to give him a very good outlook from that article I read.

Hiya schulzie, Have always liked the Bee Gees and especially Robin Gibb. I did not know he was ill at all I just happened to find your post by chance. Hope he can pull through and recover if he comes out of the coma. Things can change for the better. We´ll have to wait and see the outcome he will be in good hands.xxx

Hiya schulzie, Just been reading about Robin Gibb again to see how he is doing seems he has developed pneumonia along with other complications apart from what he has already been through. Pneumonia is something you can pull through with now so maybe the coma is helping him to pull through. Have seen a few photos of him he does seem pretty bad but also is Wife Dwina is devastated and the strain is telling on her. What a fighter he is he is still there pulling through. Thinking of him. Yes they are classics in their own right.xxx

hi shulzie I always liked the Beegees and Robin Gibb so its sad to hear he is so very ill. It doesn't sound like they have much hope for him to survive. maybe he will still surprise them but it really sounds pretty ominous to me.

I don't know if their mom is still alive either. I know the Gibbs are in their sixties, so I guess it's possible if she were in her eighties or nineties. I grew up on Disco in the 70's and the Bee Gees were such a big part of it. It's so sad to see them slip away. Thanks for your comment!

Honestly, I think most everyone loves the Bee Gees, how couldn't you? I have all their stuff too. I hope he makes it, but it just doesn't sound too good for him. Thanks for your comment!
