These are the matches already confirmed for the PPV. John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan 2 out of 3 falls match for the World Heavyweight Championship I can only assume that they will continue the fued between Randy Orton and Kane at Extreme Rules. This is a big possibility since on Super Smackdown Kane took out "Cowboy" Bob Orton during Randy's match against Mark Henry. Another match I can see happening would be CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho. Although Punk has beaten Jericho already to prove that he is the best in the world they may just have Punk drop the title to Jericho. That outcome would be pretty bad but the WWE doesn't really listen to their fans now-a-days; the storylines just reek of Vinny Russo now (If you don't know who Vinny Russo is; he's the creative writer that solely caused the downfall of WCW). I have a huge feeling that Johnny Ace (John Laurenaitis) will play a part in Extreme Rules; hopefully not wearing that Colonel Sanders suit. But if CM Punk does go against Jericho it is a possibility that Johnny Ace will screw him over. I'm not too big on the John Cena/Brock Lesnar match because I don't think it is all that great that Brock Lesnar is back, just saying. when WWE starts to bring guys from the past back into the business after years of being away from it there are only a few things that could be happening. 1. The WWE doesn't put enough faith into the newer talent to let the take the torch and run with it. 2. They just want to screw over the fans that make their opinions very clear and demand to see the newer talent. 3. They have nothing better to do and believe bringing guys back that the "new school" fans like will boost ratings and buyrates. 4. They don't want to give any current superstars a "push". I just want to know what other people think. I know I will get a lot of grief because I am a John Cena fan (I have gotten used to that), but give me your best shot.

I watch every WWE PPV whether good or bad. Daniel Bryan, real name Bryan Danielson, was the best of the best on the wrestling independent circuit. He was a mainstay in Ring Of Honor Wrestling where he was known as the "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. He stopped competing in ROH when he was signed to a developmental contract with the WWE. Do I think he should have gotten the WHC when he did? not by a long shot Is he a great wrestler? By far one of the best. I am as big of a Rocky fan as anyone else but even people in higher management didn't like that he came back because the younger talent weren't getting pushes or recognition. Now because he has made it his mission to be the WWE Champion again one day; that is all the fans are going to fixate on.
