I got my Kindle over a year ago and love it. However I also love reading printed books too. So I don't just read on my kindle, instead I switch back and forth between the two. I also have a Blackberry Playbook which has the Kobo app and have a few books there too. I guess I am just a big reader and will read in as many ways possible. What about you, are you just reading in an e-reader or love print books too

I understand you get very good deals on books, but I just don't want to put down the initial $200 to buy the kindle. And as far as a phone goes, I just have a regular phone gthat just makes and recieves and makes phone cals. My cell phone bill is only 20 dollars though. plus, I have a whole bunch of print books that I bought way before the kindle or even the internet was thought of and I like to reread them.

Marty I will join you I have a book shelf devoted to just books I need to read. However I find myself at a book store and still nosing through the clearanced and always bringing home another read. I think those of us that loves books just welcome a book store to relish in for a day. I know I always spend a couple of hours just to find the perfect book. Sometimes I will pick up 3 or 4 and then have to make that horrible decision of which one? I am on set income so I also have to set my spending in priority LOL

Print books. They are easier to read (for my eyes), better for the eyes, have that oldschool feeling... the smell, the bookmark!!!, how its cover shows how many times you've read it... it's just irreplaceable.

Those are the same reasons I love print books too. When I tell people there is nothing like the smell of a book, they look at me like I am some sort of weirdo, so I am glad to see there are others who appreciate it too. Even the feel of just holding a book in your hands is special. I read a lot of Stephen King books and love holding and lugging those around with me to the coffee house. Nothing quite like a print book!!!!

I'm an avid reader and I don't think I'd be able to go back reading (after having a child) again if it wasn't for ebooks. I have a toddler and having a paper books isn't an option for me because she could tear them before I know it LOL. Ebooks are more portable and handy, they're extremely helpful.

I'd never replace a print book for a kindle or any e-reader. I just love reading the book! I don't mean reading novels or tales, but reading books, not e-books!... What I love about reading print books is that you can write over them, you can smell the book, you can touch the pages. I mean, there is more than one sense being stimulated. Instead with the e-reader you can not even write on it, you can not perceive its smell, and you can not see how the book gets old with the time. Well, my mind can not conceive that the electronic devices have been designed for that. Perhaps you consider me old-fashioned (but actually I am less than 18 years old), but that's how I see it.

I also love reading books. I could settle either of the two, may it be e-books or print books. But I prefer the printed ones. Being a reader, it's such a good feeling to be able to feel the pages of the book in your fingers. And I always have this weird fascination when I look at printed books. This is probably the reason why I'll choose printed ones over e-books.
