You've been invited to your class reunion. That's exciting! Then, why are you getting those butterflies in your stomach?well for some they have this kind of feeling.for me, i don't definitely have!i don't usually seem to mind. i just refer to the past as the good old days. besides, im seeing all my special friends constantly so i don't think i am missing something in class reunions. Remember how when we were in high school we couldn't wait to get out? Now, here it is, some 30 years later, and your old classmates are trying to get everyone together for a reunion. Naturally, you find out about it through some Website because you're still as unpopular now as you were back then, and you wouldn't be invited if you were the only graduate of that class left alive.hahaha. well, how about you?

I wouldn't go to a class reunion if you paid me a billion dollars. Anyone who I thought was worth knowing past school, I talk to on a mostly regular basis. As few as that might be. Everyone else, where there were some good times, but I think that there is a good reason why some of us have moved forward right in our lives beyond the good old days. Mostly because the good old days were not always so good.
Class reunions are amusing, because in general one of two things tend to happen from the stories that I have heard. Keep in mind this is second hand information and likely to vary. One, there are people who have got some level of success and they either rub it in the face of people because that is just the type of people they are or they mock those who made fun of them, who are struggling in life. And there are those people where high school never really ended. Sadly, we all know the type.

we can't really please everyone. when you attend the reunion expect the rude and sarcastic comments even from those who didn't know you in the first place. though some comments were supposed to be compliments but the truth is they are just insults. if one wouldn't just notice or jjust ride with it, then there will be no harm. if they are really those intentions to hurt feelings and ego then better back off or just don't go there. we're supposed to enjoy and not just display the unreal you.

I guess I'm one of those who'll have butterflies in their stomach when invited to our class reunion. Probably it's due to the excitement of seeing my high school classmates again after a few years of separation in college. I haven't attended our two previous class reunions so maybe that is another reason.

Some got these jitters because they are afraid or might become insecure when they see their past classmates successful rather than them. Some are just excited that they will see their old friends. Others are afraid that there might be secrets to be revealed with their husband or wife. But if I were going to attend a reunion I will not have those buterflies in my stomach. Just be proud of what I accomplished and reached in life.

I am going to my 50th high school reunion in June. I am really looking forward to it and I don't have any butterflies in my stomach.
I was sort of the impetus for this high school reunion. It began when I bought my first computer at age 62. I joined a site called Classmates. Some weeks later, I got a message from Classmates telling me that I might know such and such a person. I did not recognize the name. I sent her a message and it turned out that we graduated from the same high school in 1962.
Between the two of us, we began to find more alumni. Neither she nor I had been to our 25th high school reunion. She wanted to organize a 50th high school reunion. I did not have the time nor the energy but she and others did.
And late June, we will be gathering at a hotel outside of Boston to celebrate our 50th high school reunion. Over 160 alumni are coming.
