I'm upset with timeline.

Hey guys, I created a second account and started from scratch since Facebook messed up and disappointed me with timeline. It went well and I started transferring some of my photos from the old profile to the new one, including all of the other information that's on the old account. Until Facebook did the same thing with the new account that I made! And I heard all accounts will be changed to timeline soon. NICE. :(
I'm pretty upset and frustrated and I've already considered deactivating my first and second account. But then again, Facebooking is like part of my daily routine. I'm pretty much online daily for about more than 8 hours or more! I guess I need your opinion on this as well, I bet you guys share the same feeling as I do since a lot don't appreciate timeline that much, I guess.. So, what do you guys think? :(

I can feel you girl! At first I don't like timeline. But now I get used to it. We don't have a choice since they made it mandatory. But I still see some of my friends who are not on timeline but I think I'll just stick with it. Before timeline came, you used to hate the setup when it was still new right? But you get used to it. In time, you'll learn to use the fb timeline.. It's annoying but we can't do anything about it.

Yep, that's right. I know you'll get used to it. I already did after a few days they made it mandatory :D. The cover photo is cool although you have to look left and right for the comments .

Right, we really can't do much about it since Facebook made it mandatory already. And I also found out that other accounts which used the old profile were also changed to Timeline. I guess we just have to get used to it then. It's really not the organized profile that we used to have. Plus, it exposes a lot of unnecessary info that shouldn't be on your profile. But it's okay, I'm pretty sure we'll just get the hang of it soon. ^^

Hey there. The only thing that's good with timeline is the cover photo. That's just it. Timeline is really confusing and annoying. I also want the old facebook back.

There are still some though who still has the old facebook profile. I don't know what their basis is on changing one profile to timeline and others still have the old one. It's confusing, really but we really can't do anything as of the moment.

Same here, I'd like to get my old Facebook profile back. But sadly, I guess we can't this time. Some profiles are being changed to the Timeline layout and it's quite annoying. One good example was my second account. :(

Luckily, I did not change my facebook to timeline. I knew it from the very start when looking other's profile with a timeline, it makes me think that it got a little bit disorganized or confusing.
You know what you sound so cute 
coz you did make another account and start from scratch and transferred all your photos from old to new one.
For me, I do not think deactivating would be a good option. Facebook is very helpful especially if you have loveones from other country and communicating through facebook with your loveones and significant others would be of great help, so I suggest you do not deactivate and instead get used to with the new layout of facebook.

Jeeez, yeah I know I sound so funny trying to transfer things from my old profile to the new one and then the same thing happened to the new account I just created. It really annoyed me so much. I guess, I'll just try to get used the with the new layout. But I'll still be hoping they'd consider making changes on it. Thanks for your response, :)

I can't blame you, I just installed the timeline and it really sucks. I rarely use facebook, by the way. I only had to endure it because of school work.
Though the measure they've made to organize things is obvious, it still sucks because it all ends up being messy looking and unorganized. I hope I can customize the page myself.

Yes, I agree with you. I hope Facebook considers that option as well. Timeline looks a lot more messy to me. You have to look both sides just to check updates that are posted on your profile. Nowadays, I don't check people's profiles ever since Timeline. I just depend on the notifications and what's on the news feed. I guess I'll just have to try to get myself used to it. We have no other option though. :(

At least there I could do backgrounds and stuff that I have never figured out how to do on Facebook.

Thanks for your advice, I really appreciate though. Yes, that's me on my avatar. And I'm online most of the time when I'm at work. But after working hours, I also have my spare time de-stressing myself. And yes, I also had Myspace years ago, but I deleted my account since I got tired updating it. That's when I moved to Facebook, and now there's timeline which is not at all interesting to me. I also agree with your statement, sometimes I get too dependent and hooked up on being online most of the time that I only get a few hours of sleep. That was before when I was still job hunting and I have all the time staying online unlike these days. Thanks for your response by the way. ;)

It's good that you still have the old profile on your account. Mine has timeline on it. Including the second one which I just made. I hope they consider making changes to the Timeline layout since a lot of people are already complaining on it. :(

Thanks for that question. Usually, I open facebook to check updates and notifications, chat with my friends, post photos, and etc. Most of the time, I leave my account open while I'm on another site or when I'm checking vids on Youtube. I usually open 4-5 tabs on a browser and one of which is Facebook. :)

My profile has luckily not been hit yet. I am hoping it never does. I hate the damn thing and haven't even used it on my own profile yet. It's stupid and messy not at all organized in my opinion.

I agree with your opinion. The timeline layout does not really look that organized. You have to look both left and right so you can see the updates that are posted. It's good that you still have the old profile on your account. I really had regrets having timeline. If I could just have another option not to have timeline and get my old profile back. I also want to keep my facebook account, I don't want to lose it. :(

I am just wondering WHEN everyone will be switched to that stupid Timeline!! I have resisted . . . and I'm just waiting waiting waiting for that day they will make the switch on me - I'm not looking forward to it. I've seen my friends' Timelines and my eyes go everywhere not knowing where to focus - so I mostly don't bother looking at individual profiles anymore - I just rely the newsfeed. That's terrible they did that to you on your second account - booooo! But I think when it happens, it will be a love/hate thing for me . . . I love Facebook, but I know already that I'm going to hate that Timeline layout!!!

Yeah, same thing here. My eyes go left and right to check everything on my profile and it's not a good idea at all. It's good that you still have the old profile on your account. I hope Facebook will consider making changes on the Timeline layout since a lot of users have already been complaining about it. :(

Hate timeline as well! What can I do, I've heard timeline is a must already. I already cleared those photos and posts that I don't want others to see on my timeline, but it's pretty much taking too long for me to clear it. I will just have to learn how to work with the new timeline thing for now, maybe they will be changing it again in the future.

I really hope so. I think they should hear and consider the ideas and opinions from the users first before they do some changes. But then again, it's too late to complain, it's already there. :(

What I find truly annoying about Timeline, is how it's not clear on the wall... I mean, earlier, it was chronological, everything under each other. Now, if I want to see a page's history (for example, a band's page I like, if they have put any gig informaton on in the past x days), I have to look left, then right, then left, then right... it's such a mess. The only thing I like about it is the cover and the color schemes, but that's all.

I agree, the only good thing I like about Timeline is the cover. Everything else is a mess. If they could just change the layout and the privacy settings for Timeline then I guess it would be great. I see a lot of unnecessary things posted on my Timeline and it's like I'm losing my privacy since everything is posted on it. :(

Yeah, same here. The timeline layout is really messy. You would need to look left and right to check updates that are posted on your wall. I hope Facebook will consider making changes with the layout since a lot of users have already been complaining. It should have been more organized and there should be an option where we can control the privacy of what's posted. More so, I hope Facebook will consider comments and suggestions from users who are not at all impressed by it.
