Will internet help us with our poor knowledge of the world?

Internet is a long chain of several wealth. It consist of knowledge,fun and joy. It provides us what ever we need. The perform the tasks on the basis of the things we need. Thus we can call the chain as an perfect Mother becuase it gives us all the things which we need within a short time. Really browsing internet gives us a feeling that we people are really moving all around the world. This feeling is quite normal becuase internet provide us to get the things in our small hand with the help of the internet and mostly it helps us to get our friends back and it helps us to strength the friendship which we have. As we look the simple site mylot, it is an perfect example of a perfect mother. I gives us all the things which we expect and more over it gives us the abilities like to read and write along with fun. Really according to me Internet is a School , where there is teachers who corrects us when we go to the mistakes.

I have to say that I do no know anyone in mylot that much, maybe my fault, but, I have personally know people I have met in Facebook, and you are right, it is interesting knowing people from other places and cultures, and the internet is a really helpful tool for this, even when we do not personally know all of our friends, sharing conversations and letters with them is a good way to know the world and its inhabitants

I think that My Lot members come from many different countries and it is possible for people to learn more about these countries. It is even better to go and visit one or more of these countries. Traveling overseas can cost lots of money therefore the Internet is a great way to help the person get more knowledge about the world. I have a travel wish list list with the countries and places I wish to go to. There are some countries which I will probably never visit like Iraq and Afghanistan but often war ends so then a visit can happen. Yes, I check on places I probably won't ever go. On the Internet I follow the story of a man from Liverpool in the UK. He visits every single country in the world to break a record. Hug my dear friend.

Hello marguicha. The Internet does help us with our poor knowledge of the world. With the Internet, I am gaining a lot more knowledge day by day than those days I did not have the access to the Internet, but from newspapers and radio and television. More knowledge and information can be got from the Internet, good or bad, positive or negative. It also needs us to filter what is good or bad to us net users or readers. Marg, for me indeed the internet had helped me a lot. I had gained lots of new knowledge for those section of my favorite like cooking and blogging. Besides that, i have the chance to get to know many new places without even visiting them. Hi Marguicha, IT has helped me out a lot. Actually just being on Mylot and conversing with people from all over the world gives an insight into other people and what is going on in their lives far more accurately than the media portrays. Yes, I think it helps tremendously.

Yes I agree, internet will help us in many different ways. You can search different kinds of topics like you studied for a certain subjects. Aside from that you can also know about people around the world in different races, cultures and traditions. It's like you are traveling around the world.

I certainly would say this is a kind of traveling. I have learned a ton here about people and places that I would have never got the chance to do otherwise. I actually laugh sometimes at the way I viewed certain areas of the world compared to now. I think that our governments often limit our knowledge and understanding. Sort of! I think MyLot makes us more knowledgable about other cultures...We have so many other people of other cultures on here that it's impossible to not pick up some things here and there on what it's like to live in their culture! Of course it's not nearly as informative as taking a college class or traveling, but it's something!

Internet almost have it all. How convenient it is today to know something you didn't know through internet. And yeah, these sites gives us tidbits of the knowledge that we wanna have. I guess this is one of the pros of tech's development.

I think so. If not for the internet, I would not have learned about issues of child-brides and honor-killings. It helps me get educated on the plight of women in other countries.
