Hi there. The title said it already. Who likes math? For myself I find it more fun than any other subjects I had when I was still studying. Because of this I realized that I was a little lazy on studying since when I got to college I choose Mathematics majoring course as a career for the future for these I do not need to study since math is practically been a part of my life since I was young. I just love calculating, I love working on numbers than reading facts. I like the feeling that it is I who would actually be discovering the answer to the problem not just anything that anyone could already read it right away as a fact. Truly is, I never did spend study time even during exams since while I am calculating in the class that is already my study time. That actually how easy math is, you do not need to memorize things, you only need to understand how the process is done. And that's magic.

I like math ok, it's definitely better than my reading or English classes I remember taking. Math was always the easiest subject for me because it involved logic!

I have always hated math. I really did not have a problem doing the math equations until I took an Algebra class, after that I was completely lost. I cannot do Algebra or Geometry, etc. to save my life. I always used to say to the teacher "Why are there letters in my math problems? Letters belong in sentences, not in math equations or problems!". That is how I still feel to this day. I did very well in English, grammar, spelling, with absolutely no problems. But math, forget about it! Have a nice day and happy myLotting!!!

Wow that is nice... I accept I am not that good in grammars specially in spelling. My younger sister always defeated me in a spelling contest and scrabble word games.

I'm very bad at math. Not that I would hate it, I'm happy for those who understand it and enjoy it. But at high school this was the subject I studied all the time, spent more time understanding it than anything else, yet it was so difficult to just pass the exams. I suspect I have dyscalculia, though when I was younger nobody cared about such things.

Oh I see... Yes before nobody think their is such thing as discalculia...But now experts discover new things that would explain the differences of other people.

Yes that is what actually the movie "every child is special" wanted to express to everybody so different people will be understand and deal with differently.

It's good actually that they discover them, at least we are not called lazy any more if the case is that our brain is not the same and we are good at different subjects

WHATTTTT!!!! wow that's weird. So then that means you and your classmates just pass the subject since your teacher as well doesn't know anything much with that subject? Wow that's cool. That means nobody's failing.LOL

haha i do not think so. because everybody talks that we have a very good teacher. may be you got wrong. she does not make us to learn some rules she shows us hot to get rid of them. and that's cool. but in my opinion it is not hard to learn them. and we have a lot of pupils that are failing all the time. ithey do not want to do anything. and especially we are the graduating class and we have a lot of benefits. lol

Oh okay... So maybe your teacher is not really that strict with your math. That's good. Maybe she knows that not everyone got the subject's lesson thoroughly so she gave considerations. As long as she could see that someone is trying the best they could to learn she will make them pass.

i like math, i love solving algebra questions back when i was studying.. but when there was statistics.. i kind lost interest and just stick with history. haha my first love. :D and yes i agree with you with math, its simple logic of calculation.. but you have to have patience with it. ;)

indeed... It does need a lot of patience and most specially be positive thinker. Sometimes people think it would be impossible to make something done to that every math problem so they mark it hard right away.Actually solving those tricky problems when we were still in school harness us to do better everyday specially now that we are already grown up and solving different problems in life.

There are lot of people around here who are hating maths but for me it is very interesting subject ever. if you understand some technique it will be very interseting otherwise it will boring and people hate maths... People who are curious will like maths. once my maths teacher if you fid solution for a problem you will get more happiness about that...

Hi there... Don't know that being able to love math depends on how your teacher introduce you to that learning and how your teacher makes lessons easier for you.

yes. I remember once before when I was still in high school I had this teacher in algebra that I could not understand any of what she was teaching us and feel so bored and sleepy in the class. But when I change to other teacher it suddenly came to me that the subject was actually cool and fun.

I envy you... I only love math but not chemistry. I try loving it like I understand how things goes in that area but I was not so fond of it for sometimes memorizing those chemicals and their qualities and components makes me confuse. I'm not really good with memorizing things. I even can forget names of my classmates back when I was highschool and college. I only remember faces.LOL

i love math honestly. before im just shy to admit it to my friends and classmates that i love math because usually they would tease me saying that im a genius. but its not that. i do love math because of its complexity sometimes and i find fun in solving problems, but that doesnt mean im a genius. really, no. but i just love math. especially algebra :)

Hi there jndlponti. I have come to the realization that I LIKE math! Actually, it used to be one of my most, if not the most hated subject! I really sucked at math the first years I had it in school, and therefore I hated it. In retrospect, the reason I sucked at math was probably that I did not take school seriously back then. Then recently, two years ago maybe, I actually started to study math seriously in school and made my homework. I found that I excelled at it quite easily and enjoied solving problems! So that is quite a funny story, I think. I went from completely hating math to actually loving math as my favorite subject. I agree when you say that it's important to just understand how the process is done. Memorizing a bunch of useful equations might help you but it will not make your understanding better, I think. Nice to see I am not the only one who likes math! Good day to you!

I have really various feelings about Maths. I'm not a science mind, but I consider myself pretty logical and smart. So, until a limit, I like Maths, escpecially algebra, but geometry and more difficult mathematic stuff I don't really like, because I don't really understand it. But those kinds of mathematic caluclations that we could use in our everyday lives, I like :).

Well sometimes those other things were not really as much of important unless your career requires it to...well for that fact then you are still one of those math lovers...

I envy you. That's great! Me, I hate it and also, probably the reason is obvious, I was no good at it and still not. I can do additions without any help with a calculator and pretty good at multiplications, too. It's mfractions I can't do and even worse was algebra. In high school, we had the option of taking just algebra or algebra ty 1 and ty 2, which slowed it down for people who had trouble with it. Even with that I could not get it. And to this day, do not see what algebra is needed in daily life. Fractions, I can. In fact, I was not able to get a job because we need to do fractions. It was a call center for a window company and yes, I can see if you get someone's measurement of their windows and you get it wrong, the installer comes to the house with windows that don't fit.

Hi I accept math is fun,Math is one of the interesting subject for me .Even though I score less marks in math I never hate this subject.Solving problems quickly will surely increase our concentration. But we should accept that most of the people hate math,I don't know the reason,What I think is they see math as subject. But we should not see math as subject. So many people ask why should math so many unwanted concepts ,They say addition, subtraction, multiplication and some basic math is enough for our life. But it is not like that .It has so many behind every concept,If one understand it they will never hate math.

That is true... Two thumbs up for that comment there. Truly we had more of use in our daily lives by knowing more of that math. But for some people just hearing the word would right away make their heads ache. For as what you have said they consider it as a subject not as a part of our daily lives.
