I love being a man, I don't have to worry too much on how I look. As long as I don't look like a homeless man, no one cares too much at how I look. So today, since it's warming up at last, I cut my own hair. I had so much I couldn't feel my head with my fingers anymore, and I didn't need to cover my head :p. But it looks quite good, and I saved the 10+ dollars they would have stolen from me in the barber's :D.
Do you risk it and cut your own hair or do you pay someone else to do it? And if you do it, do you feel proud of your handiwork?

Good for you! Yeah, I cut my own hair. If I get it wrong, I'm not proud of it. But if it is okay, I'm more than happy to flaunt it to everyone.

I bet nobody could tell you have cut your hair yourself.
My hair is long and I cut it myself since a few years. I learned a technique which is quick and it works as well as someone else cut it for me. I know that hairdressers live from this work, but I don't have that much money to spend. I'm not going to spend a fortune at the hairdressers, they ask even more for cutting long hair than short, even if it's much less work. They always cut ten inches more than what I asked for, even if my hair was not damaged at all. I don't know a single long hair friendly hairdresser around here, so for me self-cut is the best

Awesome! Good for you! I am not a man, and am a woman, but you know what? I have cut my hair in the past (unfortunately) and totally screwed it up. But I think guys have it easier, especially if all you have is a buzz cut or something. Anyways....Congrats on saving the $10. Now what will you spend it on?

I cut my own hair regularly too. I cut just the bangs and the hair
at the sides of my face. It saves a lot of money especially
the haircut is pricey and I think it would be just a waste to pay
fo it just to cut the bangs and the layers on the sides of my hair.

I've been doing my own hair for years, I only had it done professionally maybe 3-4 times in my lifetime. I saved alot of $ that way. My cousin did it the other times and once it was her cousin on her dad's side of the family. I liked the way I did it out of both of them. And they are certified beauticians. I'm not.
