Formula to A successful PTC venture

I've been looking around mylot discussions, and found bits and pieces of how they succeed with PTC sites. I'm rather new, and I don't fully understand the FAQs on these sites. It looks so technical for me. But, I really want to learn a strategic way of making the most out of these sites and my time clicking on ads. I hope mylotters could share their formula to success with PTC sites on this discussion. Something easy for newbies to grasp, and in return, I'm willing to be your referral for sites I don't have yet. I'm looking for something like below: 1) Sign up with at least how many sites... 2) Invest on upgrading, not on referrals...or the other way around 3) Up to what extent should one invest on these sites, so you'd still enjoy some ROI... 4) Don't do this, don't do that... 5) How much time you should spend daily/weekly on these sites 6) what's the best time of the day to get most ads or, if you could refer a link with good source of information on this stuff.
