Secret Service Scandal

More embarasment for the government and for us citizens also. I feel embarrassed by the behaviors of The Secret Service in Columbia. Like most people, I still do not know the whole story but I do not like what I am hearing. The president deserves better but so does the country. I also feel so pained when professionals in very high positions behave poorly, unethically and or illegally. That includes clergy, doctors, lawyers, professors and very high government employees like The Secret Service. I sometimes wonder what are we coming to as a society?

It has also come to light that the president's itinerary was in plain sight. hhhmmmm, these guys are well trained right? Maybe there is MORE to this than meets the eye? I won't say what I think. I listened to an interview with the secret service agent who climbed up on the back of the limo Kennedy was in when he was shot. He said he'd have taken a bullet for the president without giving it a thought. For anyone who lived through that historical time, who has seen over and over the home movie showing him crawling up on the trunk of the open limo to help Ms. Kennedy back into her seat (she had crawled up over the back of the seat to 'retieve' parts of her husband's skull)For those of us who have seen it and lived through it, no matter how much we dislike what we have now in the White House, we could not wish to go through that again.

I do not know what to think about the situation. I am embarrassed that Secret Service Agents and Military Personnel behaved in such an unprofessional manner. However, I feel bad for those who have lost their job. It had to happen but ..... it is a shame. You say "I won't say what I think. " I would love to know what you think.

The famous Secret Service, legends have been told about them. As we know they go everywhere before the President arrives - to make sure that the place is absolutely safe. Today the President knows that this is a myth. Do they dare to party like this in the US? Maybe they felt free to break loose because they were abroad and nobody would learn about their exploits. But take a look at this! "A Secret Service agent preparing for President Obama’s arrival at an international summit meeting and a single mother from Colombia who makes a living as a high-priced escort..." http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/19/world/americas/colombian-escort-speaks-about-secret-service-scandal.html?_r=1&hp

Not only am I not surprised , I'm not shocked either. And to think if the guys had given her the money Non of this would have come to life.I never looked up to these so called professionals in high positions. I always assume they would run over anyone to Get to that high position. So when I heard about this my first reaction was they had hookers, So What?! Now they have explained the guys could have been blackmailed into giving up secrets I still say not a problem not Are all the Secret Service are married. last time I checked it is not big thing for a single man to have a hooker!.But here we go , all the stories will come out.

More is coming out. The girl was interviewed on ABC News. I think there will be more interviews with her. A few Secret Service agents were forced to resign. You know what. I feel for them. They engaged in risky behavior and have paid a very serious price.
