I still buy stuff for myself but only within budget. I ensure that all other priorities are paid before I shop.

I shop maybe once every two months or every 6 weeks but then I shop at least three new clothes each time. I have reduced my bag purchases to only one or two a year, and shoes to about 3-4 pairs a year.

I'm not a mom nor a dad yet, but i know the kind of constrains parents are facing.. haha With a child, everything is different because children should come before adults. After all, being parents, most have been past their prime and attention should be on the baby, since they are in the growing up phrase. Furthermore, baby products cost much more than adult clothes and parents ought to keep that in mind. However it does not mean parents can't be trendy, it just needs more effort to find similar fashion trends at a much cheaper price. haha :D Mothers, at least that's an excuse to do some shopping instead of staying home all day long.. lol :D

Hi again ^^ I'm doing fine, thanks Once u are a mother, u will start to be thrifty on yourself but generous to your baby, right? haha After all, she's your life now and nobody gets better to see your baby healthy, running about and being lively. That's what most parents wants to see from their child ^^ Well at least that's a good excuse to go shopping even though it means more expenditure.. haha :D What's more, children with more exposure since young would do them good for they tend to mature earlier, understand what parents are going through.. haha My marriage??? SOon!! haha

I think that when you have a child it makes you feel as though you're not the most important person in the world anymore, but your child will mean the world to you and you are always going to be buying things for them instead of for yourself if you ever get the chance to do so. I know that personally I would rather spend money on my child than I would spend it on me. This is something that I have to try and get over though as I know that I deserve to treat myself every now and again, and I guess I would be a happier person if I was able to do this.

My wife and my teenager son and I shop together every other weekend. We buy the normal grocery items. Of course at times we buy clothes on offers. Just two weeks ago I bought a pair of jeans for myself. My wife bought a pair of jacket. My son chose a pair of jeans and two T-shirts. All these items are on sales.

I think it is ok to still shop for yourself and buy yourself the nice clothes that you like, of course now that you have a child, you have to buy for her too, but the thing about it is, is that kids grow REALLY fast. It is good to buy your daughter nice things, but she is going to outgrow them quickly. Therefore, I suggest that you always check the price when buying something for her, just like how you check the price when buying something for yourself. It is nice to be a fashionable mom. Just because you had a daughter does not mean that you have to give up trends and fashion. If you have the money for it, treat yourself to nice clothes. As your daughter grows up and watches your example, it will be good to show her that you still take care of yourself and dress pretty and sexy and classy because you enjoy fashion.
