At my work place, people are getting sick one by one, it was a contagious virus spreading out in my workplace, everyone take their turn. Last week, if you had read my post here, I got runny nose and sore throat for over 2 days. Last week and this week, this lady co - worker of mine is the worst, she got sick for the whole week. Another lady took 2 days off, and our supervisor also has a deep voice, and other symptom of sickness. Oh my God, what is happening now, it is going around and around. I hope the weather won't change too much, and everyone get well soon.

try to wash your hands always and use sanitizers and also take some vitamins so you don't catch the virus i hope it is nothing serious like worse and that it's just colds or something like that.

It seems you have to work together to disinfect your whole workplace and the sick person must not be in the office for he should be resting at home and be back when he is already well. It is not odd because you work in the same room and the bacteria are only rotating in your area. They have to kill those germs and bacteria, and advice your colleague to take some vitamins to strengthen their immune system.

I think it was due to virus spreading all over the place. Watch out when you are in the public toilet. Those seats in the toilets are really places that germs love breeding. Get yourself anti bacteria tissue with you.

Germs get passed on that easily. I suggest that you strengthen your immune system by doubling your dose of vitamin C.

Viral outbreaks are very bad since they have no cure unlike the bacterial. Hope you all get well.

It seems like when one person catches something, we all get it eventually. I wish it wasn't like that. One of my co-workers came in for a few hours today and said she was coming down with the flu...She stayed far away from us, but now I am nervous that me & all of my other other employees will be catching this soon. Especially when we usually work in such close proximity to other people. Agh. I hope they get better soon, and better yet, I hope that you feel better!

Hello :). When I was staying in a dorm in college we had an outbreak like that too, but we stopped it by throwing Lysol everywhere and quarantining people out of each other rooms if they were sick. After 2 weeks it was gone :D. Maybe you should try throwing some disinfectant everywhere, the floor, the walls, the bathrooms the doorknobs, etc. If you have a centralized air system on the office, try leaving one of those bombs next to one during the night (if your offices close) and when you come back the next day everything will be fixed :D. There are no viruses that can resist human's fear of illnesses :p

airborne or droplet infection i very eay to transmit. when the place i enclosed and it cool, they multiply very quickly becaue it is their favorite climate to proliferate. I suggest that you should ventilate your office by opening the windows so there could be a free flow of air carrying the bacteria that cause evrybody to get sick. Wearing a mask is also one of the preventive measures you can do so that even if somebody is having it and is not wearing any protective equipment, at least yu protect yourself from inhaling the bacteria-filled air in your office. It would be best if you can sugget that to your head/ manager or whoever has the authority to implement that precautionary measure.

Yeah, in the weather these days, anyone could easily get sick and virus would be spreading. Take care of yourself. Drink a lot of water and eat foods rich in vitamins and minerals. Take daily supplements, I take vitamin C capsule everyday. If they dont mind, you could wear face mask in work so that you wont get infected by other people.

I big on the disinfectant. I think I am a bit of a germaphobe though... Office spaces freak me out a bit in regards to germs because it always feels like someone is sneezing or coughing and not washing their hands. Picking something up and then walking over and handing it to you. Maybe that's just my hyper active germ detector going off, but I get to the point where I almost can't breath in a room full of people like that because I'm afraid I'm going to breath in their germs. If I were you and worked in an office setting I would have a bottle of hand sanitizer on my desk and I would use it OFTEN! Maybe even speak to head office and see if that's something that can be offered to all employees to ensure healthy employees! A few tricks to clear out an illness...open the windows for some fresh air. Wash hands or use sanitizer after touch anyone else's personal items. Try not to touch door knobs or railings - if you have to, use a tissue (I know it sounds overboard, but try a test, watch how many times a specific door knob is touched in a certain time frame and watch how many of the hands that touched it just touched their face, the main place their germs are found). SCARY! For a neat look into the world of how germs are spread, watch the episode of Myth Busters where Adam pretends to have a cold and hosts a party. They hook up a fake drippy nose to his face that is clear in natural light, but glows blue with a black light. Spoiler alert - the ENTIRE room and everyone in the place were covered with the blue fake germs!!!
