Bad timing to have the El Classico! I have a feeling that this top of La Liga fight will cost both teams dearly. The match will be very emotional and aggressive. We may see red cards and injuries. How could they not to when the Championship is at stage? It will be an exciting game but there will be no winner. It is a draw.

Yes, it is a real hectic period for the two Spanish clubs. They have the El-Classico sandwitched between two legs of Champions League semi final. I think this could actually cost both the Spanish giants dearly in the Champions League. Coming to the El Classico itself, it is a must win for Barcelona as the current lead of Real is 4 points and anything but a win for Barcelona will more or less guarantee them the La Liga title more or less. We have to agree that it is difficult to predict the outcome of the match of this magnitude. Both teams lost the first leg of the semi-final match of the UEFA Champions League. Therefore, both teams will want to use the match as a means of gaining, at least, some psychological boost before the return leg matches against their opponents in the champions league. Again, we should expect a difficult match because if Barcelona win, Real Madrid may be in danger of ending the season without a single trophy! On the other hand, a draw or win for Real Madrid may mean that Barcelona may no longer be able to win the La Liga trophy this season. I feel both teams will take the game very serious because of the points enumerated above. If Barcelona played the way the team played against Chelsea last Wednesday, and Real Madrid played the way the team played against Bayern Munich last Tuesday, my prediction is that the game may more likely end either as a draw or win for Barcelona.

I do enjoy the soccer game on the TV but I'd rather not bet on their scores. I think both the team are equally competetive.

hi sorangtada. first off, welcome to mylot. hope to see more of you in the mylot discussion boards. just stick to the rules and regulations and you will enjoy your stay here. going back to the topic, i wasn't really surprised that bayern and chelsea made it to the uefa champions league finals. bayern has kept an eye on this one since it was determined that the finals game will be held in their home pitch. to have any other team playing in front of their home fans will be a disgrace. add to that the less than stellar play of bayern in bundesliga and i think bayern coach,management, and players decided to just give it all to ensure that they are playing in the finals. the same can be said of chelsea. with their less than inspired performance in the premiere league, winning in the uefa champions league is a goal that they have aspired for in replace of a respectable top three finish in the english premiere league. anyway, the el classico should be great as always and i expect to see a hard fought match with barca earning a 1-0 win over rivals madrid. nice to have another mylotter talk about football. cheers and happy mylotting sorangtada!!!

hm.. looks like a draw to me. I'm going for a 2-2.

I was also surprised that both Barca and Real lost their first matches in the Champions League,but these results mean that the matches in the second leg will be very exciting.Until then the two giants of Spanish and world football will meet in another clash in which Barca is slight favorite in my opinion,especially if Jose Mourinho maintains the defensive approach which wasn't very successful against Barca in their previous match.I can only predict the same score:2-1 for Barcelona,and in this case the title race in La Liga will continue until the very last minute of the season.
