I'm starting to pay that mortgage; or the monthly so called "rent-to-own" here in the Philippines. But I won't be able to get into it unles it is fully paid for 6-12 months. And of course; I'm in the midst of starting everything merely from scratch Sharing what I'm thinking about it lately; I am so dying about that day when I step in to that house that I'm paying for and what's about to be bring inside of it. I'm practicing creative visualization because it works for me so far and hope it will manifest in what I'm working on this house. But of course it will be helpful to ask from those who have experienced in getting or attaining their dream house. What did you do when getting that; how long did you wait and what are the steps in achiving it flawlessly.

It started everything in my dream having a beautiful and a very nice place called home. One of my college friend asked me if I want to start to have a house when I was mid 20"s so I started to pay everything and when the first time I step into my place all the hardship and struggles just drop out and turned very nice feeling.

Here in the USA rent to own means you can still live in the house that you are renting. You just rent it out until it's been paid for and when that happens you basically own it. I think it's a great plan and one I may end up taking advantage of in the future. I am hoping you can make many big payments so that you can get into it soon. When do you expect to be able to move in?

That's going to be after 1 year as I completed making the first years payment. This will take me 30 years to pay for the whole amount. Funny thing here is if I'm 24 and it's going to be 30 days; so that makes me 53 years old for me to complete the house payment. Can you explain to me how mortgage works? In the US as for what I've heard everyone is working on a government grant for it and/ or saving a lot for it. Is it also the same as "Rent-to-own" that we're quoting here in the Philippines?
