Whenever I feel really down and low, I listen to a few good songs and think about how my life would get better when I reach my goal. But for the last two days or so, I can't feel it anymore!!!! It was one of the very few things that had kept me going through these dark times, but now what? Any suggestions? Please help...

I also gone through dark times like you before that no matter what you'll do to cheer up yourself, you'll not feel happiness.Everything else doesn't just matter.Maybe it's depression though not major one because I still know what's real;and reality just hurts.I just tried to read inspirational books so I can process my thoughts. Now,I'm getting back to better days and I keep myself busy so I can forget my problems.

As much as I dislike exercise it is the major change in my life that seems to be making a difference in my mind, emotions and physical being. All my behaviors are changing as a result of this very simple remedy. I am not assuming you don't exercise but if not, never too late to start. Treating my body better by eating healthier, exercise and properly hydrating (taking enough water/fluids in) all are leading to a better emotional/mental condition for me. Without talking more and understanding more about your life and what may be different, I could not begin to understand a cause or fix. I would suggest a journal or diary as a tool to help understand. Of course you say this change is only for the past couple of days so it may just be temporary. Journals help you understand changes like this and also can help a lot in making such changes short.

Get fresh air and let the positive energy that come with it run into your mind. Keep it there, think something positive, think about your happy childhood, thinking about any happy or silly moment that make you laugh. Stay positive and it will help out out of the dark times.

Try to lift yourself up. Consider doing a lot more fun activities aside from the "happy moment" you considered before. Perhaps it's time to open yourself to new changes and consider other activities which might interest you as well. During times like these, it's better if you have what you call a "support system" to help you through and guide you. They may be your family or friends, or the very people close to you. In most cases, these kind of people will help you get through. I've been there and what's difficult was, I excluded myself from the group thinking I could just get away with it. Unfortunately I was wrong. So, this may be a helpful tip to you from someone who's been into a lot of these situations like yours. Hope this one helps. ^^
