Quotes from the source at the side neighbour.. On April 21st, the nation will commemorate Kartini Day, the day known as the resurrection of the women in Indonesia, which today is considered as the equality of rights between women and men. The day when a woman named Kartini was born, a woman who take his people from ignorance. Back when I was a boy, April 21st, I always celebrate with traditional dress, and carnival. But in addition to traditional dress, girls dress also depicting a profession, such as policewomen, doctors, judges, teachers, nurses. At that time I had in mind was that I come up with nice clothes, but then I do not understand the meaning behind it all, after my new big if I know the traditional dress that we will introduce the culture of Indonesia, while dressing up a particular profession or it means that girls or women may have a dream and aspiring like men. Yup ... as championed by Kartini. But now, an age of modernization, which has parallels an age for women and men, an age where women have equal opportunities with men, an age which education was wide open to all walks of life. Happy Kartini Day.

not only the spirit of Kartini, but also her ideology to face the 'bad' government. I think the youth generation is easier to spread their act with recent sophistication of technology. But it is still hard to do, don't you?
