See, i got to watch Hunger Games last week as i was curious of that movie and then they told that there is a book about it, so i used all my resources err..the internet to find the ebook as i cannot afford the book.
so since it is an ebook, i very patient with it to scroll down and read those small letters. But you see, everytime i read a book, i always peak at the last page to see who ended with whom. I have to!
But this time with Mockingjay - the third book, i didn't as i thought the character i love will end up with the character i love to end up with her.. Queer huh? 
but so i continued reading till i was at the end and guess what?
I AM HEARTBROKEN! The character KAtniss didn't end up with Gale, i love Gale. hmmpp!! Sorrry for the spoiler but i have to say it. She ended up with Peeta which i dislike 
oh well it is a book and i should have stick to my usual reading style, READ THE ENDING FIRST.
i know i know i am silly.

oh girl. you should have said right off, dont read this its a spoiler. now i know and im only 1/4th through the first book. 
i will have to stop reading your book subject discussions. why did you tell this secret?

its ok. i did it to one of my friends on here one time and got the same response. as they had not watched their recording yet and i made a discussion as to who got voted off of survivor. learned my lesson about spoilers. so guess i deserved one

Oh dear, it's been a long time since I read love story- or maybe I lost my interest with reading love stories.
I prefer to watch the movie whenever it is available.
We have a library at home- but most of the books consists of detective stories and "goosebumps" hehehe.
National Geographic, Time, Reader's Digest and Country Home Books.
My daughter was never hooked with love story- hmnn....she's not a lesbian

its not really a love story. its mostly sci-fi/thriller. and yes was supposed to be a little bit mistery, until now

yes it is sci-fi mixed with a bit of love story to put spice to it.
WOw can i stay over at your house ms.jai? i love detective stories too and as a kid i grew up reading goosebumps as well... and i am tuned in always to NAtGeo plus i also buy reader's digest.

Anyway, I haven't watch the movie yet, although, i am dying to watch it already. I might watch it tonight online. My sister already bought the 3 books and it's lying here beside me now. Now, that i have read your posts, I am not gonna be shocked or disappointed anymore.. I too love to know the ending of the stories or to the novels I read before I even get to read the whole book. I am so impatient when it comes to reading, i want to know the end already so I won't have a hard time thinking how it will end while still reading the middle part of the book.

Just still read it, you might like Peeta more than Gale.. 
It wasn't what I have expecting but, I liked it anyway. So now, I will start reading the books. Well then maybe I will really like Peeta.

me too! I read some books this weekend and i am heartbroken.. as i didn't read the ending this time.. i should have. all were sad endings...or for me those are sad as they characters i love didn't end up together

Hi jazel! I have finished reading the books too. Like you, I was also kind of disappointed when Katniss ended up with Peeta. Well, books just don't end on how we want it to be. I wonder how will the other myLotters will react with your post, especially those who haven't read the books yet.

me too, i guess it is because Katniss herself could not decide which one to choose and that she never really declared that much concern even for Gale..

Yeah. Both guys were not willing to let go of her, and Katniss likes the both of them. Katniss experiences this weird rush of emotions with Peeta. However, with Gale, she never looked up to him as someone whom she will be linked with romantically. Gale will always be her precious friend, no matter what happens. What a life Katniss has.
