Well, as we know the london derby ended up with goaless draw. It maybe big dissapointment for those two giant club, especially for Arsenal. Chelsea perhaps has achieve positive result since they must spend energy for champion league second leg game at nou camp on tuesday. In fact, I think Chelsea has playing smartly besides luck on some RVP chance unable to converted into goals. However, Chelsea strategy really works again,it really good warming up as Barca preparation. Cahill and Terry again really cool at defends, even Terry made hick-up one time.. This really good news for both Newcastle united and totenham hotspurs who will playing later.. What do you think about this match? Can Newcastle and Spurs close the gap with Arsenal?

Well, it turned out to be 3-0 for Newcastle against Stock City and they moved up to 4th place as Spurs lost against QPR. Chelsea may not get 4th position this year but if somehow they are able to come out as champions in the Champions League they'll be automatically qualified for the Champion League next year in place of the 4th place holder. So I think they will really give everything for the Champions League win as that would be their only hope to be qualified for it next year.

Newcastle is the only club chasing the Champions League spot who have tasted victory this weekend. If they win their game in hand, they will be level on points with Arsenal. As for Tottenham, their wretched form continues.

It turned out to be a disappointing affair in the end. I think it was a fair result as neither side really seemed to get out of second gear throughout the match. I suspect Arsenal would be more happier with the point than Chelsea as it cements their push for Champions League position. On the other hand, two weeks later Chelsea vs. Newcastle could really be the match for the Champions League football!! Cheers! Ram

Chelsea did well enough to get the draw, considering that it was a match that Chelsea had to play most of their back-up players(only 3 players from the last Barcelona game started)to rest their first choice players for the coming UCL semi-final second leg in Barcelona on Tuesday. Arsenal attacked more but Chelsea defended splendidly. The few Chelsea counter attacks were dangerous and could have even won them the game if Sturridge and Kalou took their chances well. The quest for next season's UCL spot is out of the hands of Chelsea now. Arsenal seems to have secured the 3rd spot. The 4th spot will be fought between Newcastle and Spurs if both of them could keep winning. Any slips and Chelsea will be back to the frontline especially they still have a home game against Newcastle.
