is readbud.com a legit site?

Hello fellow mylotters. Have you heard about this site? My friend recommended me to readbud.com. She said we can get paid by just reading and rating an article. If we hit $50, we can get the payment through Paypal. I registered and started rating some articles. I also referred some of my friends because you can get $5 for every successful referral. One of my friends that I recommended searched about this site and found some blogs saying that it is a scam. I stopped rating articles and told my other friend who referred me what we have found out. She defended the site, saying that it was under maintenance for a while that's why there were some who were not able to get the payment. I really don't know who to believe in right now. Please help me decide. If you have any experiences with this site,you're most welcome to share it. Thank you.

I have not heard about this website site before but from what you have written, it seems to be too good to be true. No website will give $5 just because you have referred someone.

That's what they said. That's why I referred 10 of my friends. I asked why it has not been posted yet on my account. I was told that the $5 for each successful referral will be added up on your account once the people you referred redeemed their first payment. Maybe I was tricked but good thing I have found out this early. Thank you to all of you.

When you start engaging yourself on online jobs, you should be ready to be scammed. Sometimes you may think a website is legite to just end up spending alot of time and later to realize that it was scam.

I really did not think that it was a scam since my friend was the one who referred me and she sounded really confident. I also thought that it was an easy job so why not go for it. I've learned my lesson. Better be careful next time and do background check first before joining. Thank you for this.

Before posting in the future try search and see as we have discussed this site at length at least 10 times. It is a scam as they say, if it is too good to be true it most likely is.

Yes, I will next time. This is now a lesson learned for me. May you guys take this as a lesson as well for us not to be fooled by some sites next time. Thank you for your response.
