When I lived in South Carolina my granddaughter would treat ourselves with a meal at the Panera Bread Company. We would order the Broccoli cheeses soup in a bread bowl and half a sandwich. The broccoli soup is so good. So is the sandwiches. They are big so I only ordered the soup. Now most recently I learned that one has opened up near where I live in Michigan. I was real happy that one is so close. I and another granddaughter have eaten there a couple of time and I bought some basil tomato bread. boy is it good. I will be getting some more to make some blts with it. . They also make scones and cookies as well as other bakery items. that are real good. I see that they have their recipes on line too. This is better than any other fast food as far as I'm concerned. Do you have a better than the usual fast food restaurants in your area?

I guess I don't consider Panera Bread as fast food. They don't have a drive thru, darn it! And it's so much better than what I consider fast food. I do so love their food, yes I do! It's more expensive then I'd like, so I don't go there often at all. I last went their for my birthday as a special treat.

Hello Ambeie. I think of Panere bread company as fast food because you don't have to wait very long for your order. As for prices it seems t o me they compare with the other fast foods by the time you get the meal deals, besides being healthier.
