I am so tired today. I haven't had a weekend off in months! And this weekend I wasn't able to sleep in since I was helping out with the community yard sale yesterday and I had a charity walk this morning. So, when I finished watching a movie about 15 minutes ago I was going to go to bed. But I decided to check out myLot first and see what was going on. Well, it's a good thing I did! Just a minute or so ago, I thought I heard someone at the front door. Then it got kinda chilly in here. UGH! MY front door came open again! I don't know what's wrong, but sometimes it just wont close. I can slam it and slam it and it wont close. My husband always says to lock the deadbolt, but it wont lock because something's not lining up right with my door. I have to get a new door, I know it. But in the meantime, I have to just keep making sure it's closed. Has myLot ever saved you from something?

Honestly I don't really understand the connection between door and electric bill. But well, yeah, myLot has saved me from wasting my time on Facebook. :) ~now I am wasting my time on myLot ~lol just kidding

Well, if my front door is open and it's cold outside, my heater will run a lot harder trying to keep the house warm. Fortunately, I closed the door and all the heat stayed in the house.

Interesting thoughts here. I am sure there are many times posting here has helped me to stay strong no matter what I am going thru things could be worse, and in time everything will be OK. I have many Health issues and other things going on that could really bring me down, but being able to come and share here helps to make everything a little more easier to do.

I dont think mylot has really saved me from something that i can recall. On the thought of the door have you thought about having (or doing it yourself cuz its not hard - ive done it) the door knob and catch changed? Mine stopped working about a month ago but it wasnt staying open...i was locked in my house. I spent about an hour taking the thing apart and getting the catch to release (as the twist-pull part snapped inside) then ran to rona and purchased a new handle and catch for about 30 dollars. It took 10 minutes to reassemble it. WAY longer to get the broken part to let me out of the house!

We're thinking it's the frame because we can't even slide the deadbolt when this happens. It's not all the time, but we can't seem to figure out what triggers it. I want a new door anyways - this one does not keep the cold out at all in the winter!

Not that it's a big deal or anything like that, but last night it saved me from falling asleep when watching a football (soccer) game on TV in the middle of night. I wanted to watch the game live which meant midnight here and passed my bedtime. So I decided to do myLot while watching and it actually kept me awake.

That's great! I do hope your team won - and that you got some sleep afterwards!
