Here I am again.. Online but not in Facebook as much as before.

Sharing my thoughts with our fellow mylotters; this is also in regards to one of our friend's doubt lately.
On her post under work; she mentioned that she is sad she wouldn't be online as much as before. I did post my commment and inform her to have a different schedule for mylotting even if you have work.
Give right now; I have a new sched at work but i still don't loose time being online but I do notice something; I'm not online in facebook as much as I'm doing before. I'm spending like 5-6 hours in that site coordinating with my people in my second job for organizing events, checking latest internet memes and what's new. But after logging in last April here in mylot; it drop my facebook consumption by 2-3 only. Even one of my fellow organizers did noticed. Change of sched in my primary work is what I'm giving as an excuse because for sure they'll kill me for not being online in facebook all the time like I used to.
But who among you dropped their interest in logging in to Facebook? Am I the only one here?

I have lost my interst in facebook unlike before thwt i feel i need ti log in every day. Well unlike in mylot there are somethings i see as motivtion and i am not firced to see the same things over and over agin... I dont ge bored and i dont. Need to just see my friends whine akl the time...

Exactly. I'm just using it for updates and to catch up but not in a way that I'm keeping it open for too long like it used to.

i used to spend a lot of time in facebook and online games...but now, i am more interested in searching legitimate and simple online jobs...i realized instead of waisting lots of time socializing why not use it in a way that i can earn even a little ....

Same thing here. If ever Facebook has that earn using this site program; they I would definitely be rich by now. I have an account there since 2008. And I use it all the time in coordinating with my people in the event organizing team, doing online marketing for promotions and stuff. haha.. thanks for sharing your thoughts about it. Good thinking in keeping an account here in Mylot ^_^-)

I also noticed that once I am in facebook, I tend to forget many things. I get so absorbed with photos, messages and chat from my friends and colleague. At the end of the day, I realize that I did not become productive because of giving much attention to facebook.
As of now, I am working hard to earn money. I am the only person who is working in our family. My parents are both old and my sister is just starting to apply for a job. So instead of putting my time in a site that won't help me much in earning, I just decided to stay here in mylot. It is more practical, indeed. How I wish there will be more sites like this one.

Whhhoooah.. that's one blast of a motivation! I thought I'm the only one who has the craziest idea in doing mylot more.
When I start logging in; I was thinking; this extra dollars made here will tide me for purchasing food for the groceries so everytie i get my onthly salary; I'll save it up for the mortgage of my house. And to think that I'm not living at my house yet until it if fully paid; I have to do this and sacrifice a lot of time beig away from home. But now that I got friends here; sharing happiness and aspirations as we do mylot everytime; It gives that likeness of logging more that going to Facebook and ending frustrated at the end of tha day by other's achievement and that "oh so perfect" status in life. I guess we found ourselves here being true and sharing our help when need or gving out advices; all so real and not just for the sake of earning anymore.

Yes, you are correct. One benefit of getting here when posting our thoughts in English is it really enhance our skills in vocabulary, grammar and sentence structure. For once I remember it really took me a hard time posting a good topic but by putting my heart and thoughts freely into it makes it easier that what it was four (4) years ago. What's funny is I only earned seven pennies ($0.07) during that time which is for me; it was really bad. But now that we have supportive users here; it really gets me going to come back and share my thoughts more.

Yes, mylot earnings is more of a reward to us. We acquired a lot of benefits staying here in mylot. We can find real friends, widen our English vocabulary, and learn a lot from life. Definitely, I love being here.

i am online on Facebook most of the time because i communicate with my friends who are now abroad and also to check on updates regarding my boyfriend who is now back in NY. but i still come here on mylot and like consider it as my work. there is really nothing to do on Facebook, just check updates and messages and that's it so i would rather spend my time here.

Yup; for checking updates that's good but for staying up longer than the ussual; that's going to kill me for good as of this point. the reason is; I keep on seeing the same posts for the next 2-3 hours from different persons and that sucks for me already.

Yeah. I am bored using facebook now. Not like since I started using facebook. My friends and classmates have been busy and they haven't logged in as much as before. They have their own jobs now and they are preoccupied with a lot of stuffs. And when their online, we have nothing to talk about because it's hard when it's been a long time since you've chatted. Just saying Hi's and hello's, then how are you, how have you been, and after that no more. I just go there if I wanted to play games. I play tetris battle, pool, and are you smarter than a fifth grader. If I had nothing to do then I'll go to facebook pages and stalk other people. hehehe. Looking at their profile, pictures and status.

For just checking updates; Facebook is the best site...
But for staying up there for hours; it's getting boring already; right?
And what's funy about it is; before when the website is new, you'll have those classmate groups, groups for workmates, groups for boy's and clans for a TV shows (like what I have here; it's Otaku clans, gaming clans, Cosplayer's Guild and such) But now; I'm getting tired of seeing the same repost that they're doing. hahaha ^_^-)

Good thing Mylot discourages spamming and copy/pasting of posts and topics. That's what I like here better. Oh; and aside from earning from posts and topics of course!

Recently I was thinking "why am I on these websites if I don't get paid anything? Plus, most of the time no one cares about what I say!" For example, instead of going on Facebook I go on SideTick - it's twice as fun, you have more to do, plus you can get paid!

For me I do not have a fixed schedule on when I am going to be online because I just login to any it can be mylot or facebook anytime I am free from any schoolwork so for me I have no problem being online for plenty of long hours I always like to keep myself busy.

Here at work Facebook is not allowed. It is blocked by the I.T. peeps who coordinate with our supervisors to suppress the Facebook users in our workplace. But what's weird is I was able to gain access in this sites so I'm using this everyday. Eventually I grew loving this site more as I thought first the site is boring. Great job for the mylotters who's posting real time. Thanks for your support!
