Either got tired from what i did last week, or what i did that time caused my hands to get hurt and have this some sort of a carpal tunnel thing. i have made a discussion about carpal tunnel syndrome, i was afraid this will happen some day.
My Sister in Law has carpal because of her unending house chores most specially MANUAL LAUNDRY that cost her hand. she stripes around that hand of hers and was told not to use it for 3 months? am thinking of having my hand checked.

You better check your hand. You could also buy “computer health” manual from the stores. I have one and I read some of it. It is only a “one page” manual. This manual teaches how to sit correctly in front of the computer, the proper sitting position to avoid, Adverse Mechanical Tension, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Eyestrain [I got one and I almost got blind but I am glad I learn my lesson. I will never stay long in front of the computer, that is my first lesson based on my experience

hi lk!
please do. for any health-related issues or concerns and if there are uncertainties or doubts in your mind, you can always seek a medical advise. be it from a physician, a nurse, or even a health worker in the barangay.
hands are usually amongst the most physically used and abused part of our body (along with the feet, brain, heart, liver and stomach). it so valuable, we don't want to overuse it. and we don't want to create an irreparable damage to it because clearly we cannot make a replacement coz we are not likely to grow an extra.
simple enough remedies to help us:
- when tired, we must rest. there is no better replacement.
- when there is pain, drink some water and if possible rub or massage the area. there's cure in water and there's healing in a touch.
- everything in moderation. anything unused or overused would have drastic effects.
you take care lk.

I am afraid of having that illness as well because I am starting to feel my fingers numb sometimes, hopefully this is all psychological. Better try to observer you hands first after taking a rest. A day or two of less workload for your hands maybe will do. If you still feel the pain after resting it, that may be the time for you to consult the expert. Better to know how to manage it while it is still early.

Hi LetranKnight25, I am a writer and I do some household chores so I have been pretty exposed with this kind of situation. From time to time I used to experienced pain in my hands, sometimes my whole arm aches as well. But after talking to some of my nurses friends, I was advised to take vitamins particularly vitamin B complex.
Vitamin B complex is known for working wonders to ones nerves. So after I was told, I started religiously increased my intake of multivitamins and I also started separate dosage of vitamin B complex. It is fairly inexpensive so I am able to maintain my daily dosage. After exactly one week, I noticed that the pain is no longer a problem.
There was this one time when I need to wash my clothes using my bare hands because my washing machine is acting up, after the chore, I didn't even feel a single sting of pain in my hands. When normally, whenever I wash clothes, my hand would start aching. I think I found a new friend with this vitamin B complex.
But before trying this, i suggest that you consult with your physician first. I hope that you wouldn't have to deal with the carpal tunnel syndrome. It used to be my fear before, but the vitamins I am taking now seems to eliminate my problem. Good luck with your check up.

dear LK,
Have some rest.
Most abused part of our body is our hands - the most.
And, of course, we need to rest our body and hands as well.
Needs some massage and proper treatment.
Take care dear brother
