Do you agree that blogging can be profitable if you know how to do it properly?

I have been a blogger for almost three years now, and it's only this year, that I had truly receive tangible income from it. I say it's not everybody's luck to earn big, but if you happen to hit the "vein of gold" then you're lucky, and of course you must persist and work hard no matter what the circumstances are. Never give up on your dream. What about you? what do you advise new bloggers who would like to earn through blogging or writing?

Yes. I strongly agree! I can't remember the TV station where I watched the successful blogger being interviewed. I always browse different channels in my cellphone, so I can't recall if it's in Talk TV, Etc, or in local channel.

that show is Mel and Jay on Channel 7 and the blog is Yugatech where they are now the one who pays for article to write for them. These guys are so genius and they are just sitting there but the dollars keep on coming on their pocket. By the way none of other blogger on the same category can beat them on topblogs dot com

I am sure it's not in GMA, but maybe they are the same persons. Right after Jay left the program, I lose interest in watching Mel and Jay which is now Mel and Joey.

Hey jenaisle I'd like to say Yes to your question. I agree that blogging is profitable when people do it properly. My story also same as yours. I started to write a blog in the end of 2008. But Now it's 2012. Blogs I wrote in the past are now closed all. Because of my fault. I didn't do what I learned from reading others blogs. That one is my biggest mistake I did. Anyhow I started my blog ScorpionGodLair.com in March 21st. I'm happy now because now it's growing but not rapidly. This is the 6th week of my blog. I still don't make any money, but I know I'll within my blog's 4th month. Because I work according to my goals now. So I hope I'll make my first dollar in that month.(June 21) My advice for newbies to work according to a plan and fulfill the Blogging Success Formula called, Foundation. Content. Promotion. Here's a link to get more about this formula. http://www.scorpiongodlair.com/how-to-become-a-successful-blogger-the-core-formula/

This is good! I really enjoy blogging! I've been writing since I was seven years old. Now, in my 40's I'm still writing but with more passion. My advice to new bloggers is to read a variety of reading material, expand your vocabulary, interact with as many people as possible via internet or face to face. Depending on what a blogger likes to blog about, I suggest researching favorite topics and keeping up on current events. People who read blogs don't want to read a mess of foolishness, so I also suggest blogging about real life scenarios. For example, blog about homelessness instead of blogging about "Jackass" the movie type stuff. I believe in connecting, captivating, and keeping my audiences (readers) attention. A blogger's ability to do these things will earn money and an impressive reputation. Check for spelling and grammatical errors. Try not to use "text lingo". Words like "lol" or "u" instead of "you". The more polished a blog is the better! Passionate bloggers want readers to keep reading their blogs. These are a few things I consider when I blog.
