Unfortunately, I do not know how to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch, but I do use the betty crocker chocolate chip cookie mix. I just add the wet ingredients. But, they always turn out cake-like and crunchy on the bottom. What am I doing wrong? I follow the instructions to the "T", but I can't ever get them CHEWY! I do not like the cake-like, and would prefer for them to be chewy. I have tried other brands and I still get the same product. It has to be me. Can anybody help me out with this?

Unfortunately, I do not know how to bake cake or cookies. Maybe your ingredients are lack that’s why it becomes cake like. Just follow the directions on how to do it. I know we are not a perfect chef that in just one cooking we can’t make it. What can I say is just try and try until you’ve got the exact cookies that you want? Practice makes perfect.

I can not tell you the process of making this recipe yet I can just tell you the missing ingredient to make your cookies crispy delicious. You must add an egg white on it so that you can make it crispy.Try it!!! Please do not make another opinion about cooking as what I have done before and all my opinions are cancelled by the moderator because I violated their rules.
