I speak both Mandarin and English, and I also have been a Mandarin teacher for a while. I am recently editing some of the useful Chinese learning material on my blog, people who are interested in, and need more information, you guys can visit my blog. So I just wondering how other people learn Chinese? can you share your own experiences? and what you think the most difficulites you have when learning Chinese. Perhaps I can help some of the learner to solve their questions.

It is not tough, once you get used to pinyin and tone, the rest of it are easy, our grammar is not really that difficult to learn. and if you say about our letters or characters, I will say, that will be more for people really need to learn written Chinese, most people would like to learn conversational Chinese, that's not tough, trust me.

Okay, our letters are symbolic, and it takes longer time to pick it up and learn how to write. That's for people who wants to learn written Chinese. If you just want to learn how to SPEAK CHINESE FIRST like most people do. FOCUS ON pronunciation is very important. Pinyin and Tone that will be your first lessons.
