Rain gave much awaited point to Deccan

The heavy rain at the Eden Gardens, with water in the ground too much, with much of the water in parts of the outfield. The water also covered whole ground due to the heavy rain, this forced umpire to call off the the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Deccan Chargers. The match was abandoned and there was no toss at all. Nothing in thsi game except a console point for deccan who were waiting for long to score a point in this unlucky season of thiers.
What you think of deccan will rain points oh! no point will changes the luck for Deccan who are already down in 5 matches losing all of them many due to to thier bad efforts.
Poor kolkata lost the valuable point which may gave a factor to be out of top 4!

They were pretty lucky to open their account, because KKR should have expected an easy 2 points from that game!

Offcourse Deccan are lucky that rain make them something to see in the account of thier tabel. I thin it was not lloking good to them that they stilll on the egg but now they say yeah i have one in the tabel to show.
Well for KKR it might be bad luck as this make crucial as top 4 will be decided.

Hi Rajeev,
I too felt bad for KKR that valuable two points they had to share with Deccan Chargers.This is true that this IPL season was not their thing and they had been waiting to add a point to their table. And luckily the rain God gave them a point. On the other hand Kolkata Knight Riders, who were hoping to make a win over the DC went in vain.
Now to remain in the contest KKR has to win the rest of the match. It is a do or die situation for them.

krajibg don't panic as KKR is in the top at second place beyond delhi in the table so they need not to worry much untill they play too poorly and lost all matches. There might be tough competition between the teams as all are going even. The poin that Kolkata loss to deccan can make diffrence at last but till that can be avoided with good performcance.

So finally DC are on the board. But of course, this was not the way in which they wanted to be on the board. Anyhow, I agree that at this moment KKR would look at this as one point dropped rather than one point earned. In this close IPL edition 1 point could be significant.

Every team want to win and they did all the efforts to do so but it not always one can win ability and talent matters. Luck is factor but it not always do favour as example see DHONI.
Well Deccan now in tabel to count but they need to show up and beat some team and make the changes in the top 4 as they are not going in there it sure but they can play to changes the senario who will be in that.

I don't think Deccan has done bad efforts.They have batted well and they did not have luck..I think Deccan cannot come to top 4 because they didn't have luck. They played it very well.I din't understand why luck does not favor them.I think they will fire up in next ipl and come to top 4!!

Deccan Chargers finally got 1 point due to rain, now lets see if they start winning matches. On the other hand if KKR had won the match they could have secured 2 point which would have helped them to stay in top 4.
Now let's see from here how DC goes from here ....

Despite getting the point on the tabel it is of no use for Deccan what will they do with 1 point? They need to win all the coming matches to go at the top 4 teams which seems quite impossible. Might rain may gave them some points to console with.
