Do not complete low paying mylot job!!

We should not really waste our valuable time just for 1 cent or 2. Because more we complete those jobs, employers are encouraged to create such job for us. If we all are determined not to complete those jobs; I am sure they will increase the rate. This is a earnest request to all mylot members who do complete mylot tasks.

When I was young my grandfather told me "look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves".
Completing a task and receiving only 1 cent might seem like a small amount - but complete 10 and then 10 more and...
A task that is only paying 1 cent does not take much time to be completed and we should be grateful to those who create them. Telling others to boycott them is not the right way to go about getting tasks with a higher reward to appear here

The amount of the reward for completing the task relies entirely upon the honesty/greed of the user creating it. If they decide to share more with us and have less as profit then the amount of the reward might increase - but we all know that offline we are paying over the top for many things and not being rewarded enough for some jobs that we undertake.
If it is a case of necessity we will do a job for less and that is the case with the tasks here in my opinion.
I have created tasks in the past and I offered 5 cents to join a social site and 2 cents to vote for a band. In neither case did I earn any monetary reward after my tasks were completed. I just gave others the chance to earn something very easily and I was perfectly happy, as they were completing them.

Lets face some simple facts. When a task creator creates a job, he is surely not doing that for charity. Actually he himself will get some profit creating that job for us. And it is quite commonplace.
But suppose once we finish the job, he will be rewarded $1 or more from another source, and we are getting 1 cent! And we actually did the work!!
Do you think its fair?

I don't do any tasks. I don't feel that writing an article for only a dollar or so is worth it.
However, I do know that some people earn money to pay for things with mylot and the tasks.
I figure that if people want to do tasks for any money that should be their choice.
If they accept penny tasks that is that choice.

seobuzz we are indeed all discussing with you here. We have given our opinions as to why we think that low value tasks are worthwhile and why it is not necessary to incite others to boycott them.
We have understood the point of your topic. It seems that you are disappointed that not all of us agree with you? It wouldn't be a discussion if we did surely?

That is not my stand. My point of view is very clear and it will benefit all of us. That is -
Suppose a task creator creates a simple jobs and offer 1 cent to complete. Now if all the members decide that the amount is very low to attract; then none of them will not complete the task. Ultimately the task creator will suffer, and he will surely pay more from his next campaign.

You are very right 1-2 cent less.Advantage of the many users of the site.When there are many users,someone will agree to their terms.I personally do not earn much from the site.

You are very true. Now i do not want to waste my time just to complete mylot tasks which only pays 1 to 4 cents even though it is many if combined and finish all tasks. On my first days here, i even tried to accept and finished tasks and i got paid with them but as i concentrate more here in discussions, i got really higher earnings so i just decided to leave. Well, there are paying sites which is really similar to mylot tasks and they pay better which i registered to but i even though i already started working, i just decided to leave it. Haha. No bad experience though, not just my type to do some type of tasks.

The day I join mylot task is not still available, I don't know what year mylot task was introduce because I've been away for almost 3years. When I came back just a month ago, I saw and visited the task and try what's going on since I'm not still familiar with it. I tried the simplest task and earn 2 cent and been surprised that it was accepted added to my earnings. There are task that pays more but I think It is not fit for me and takes a lot of time for me to finished. Every now and then I visited the task and somehow I earn 2 to 6 cents a day it depends on task offered. 2 to or more 6 cents a day when you added it to your monthly earnings in mylot well it is worth for me. I was glad that when I came back mylot offers a added ways to earn not like before. For me I'm here because I enjoy earn money and I earn friends. If I don't like to do some task but I can do it It is my lost.

I normally do not take up such tasks. However some people consider that a change from routine when they do that and for a few even 1 cent or 2 cents may be encouraging amount.

Although I agree with you, it's hard to control task creator's behavior.
Well, some people think it's fine to do the task with low payment, it's their choice, and we can do nothing about that since they had been satisfied enough with the payment.
Perhaps myLot should enforce task creators to give better payment, but I believe it would never happened :p

Some online tasks require us to give out our time and effort just to comply some pennies for it. However, there are more reliable ways to get a decent online income. The only thing that one should consider is to have a good compensation and find more platforms to earn a decent earning online.
One should not be satisfied with some little centavos they earn from micro tasks, after all, online earnings have different projects piled up, so it’s up to the online earner if they will make or break such online income.

i take some tasks for 2 cents if it is just liking and posting short comments. I am okay with it. but if the task is too difficult definitely I won't do that.
