AmWay is an MLM. I would suggest you to look for consumers, not customers. (Hope you understand the difference.) Look for consumers who will regularly consume it, not customers who just buy it once. I would suggest you two sites, where you can find Network Marketers. MlmOn.com and MlmDiary.com, both have good number of Network Marketers enrolled. Wish you success

My opinion about AmWay is, it typically works better with friends and relatives. Since the price of the products appear to be high, convincing any third person would be hard. But, it's little easy to convince friends and relatives, for AmWay products deliver quality. I'm not doing AmWay as business, but I consume few products of Amway. (Though the price appears high, it's almost the same as other equivalent products in the market if we consider the quality.) I bought SA8 and LoC, both have a high price, yes I agree. But when I work out the same thing into my monthly consumption, the cost is the same or even less. (I bought SA8 for INR 560. That's my 5 months consumption of detergent powder. Whereas the SA8 lasted for nearly 5 months. So the cost is even, yet the quality is better.) The website I have given you, the members of those sites are network marketers. (There are few people who do MLM as full time business.) You can sign up free, and find people in your locality to grow your business. (There is a search option, you can find people in your locality by entering your city name in the search box.) I would suggest you to use some products for yourself, and you will find yourself confident in recommending Amway products to your friends & relatives.

Yes abhi, they look expensive, whereas some products are really not expensive. (However, I think some products are really expensive, because AmWay is not the manufacturer of those products. They just market through their network, but it's a third party product.) If you can use the household products of AmWay you'll find that they are not actually expensive. It's like buying in a lot. You will pay more money, but the products will last for a longer time. If you just break it up, it will be equal to your regular monthly consumption. (I will surely say SA8 and LoC are of those kind.)

In order to have stable customer base, you have to keep pushing your products to existing customers. It would be better if you have tried out all the products before recommending and selling them. You have to bring confidence to your customers and once they feel secure, you can count on them to bring you more customers. Starting is always difficult but once you managed to secure your first 10 customers, more will come easier without you having to lift a finger at all. After all, your customers will eventually become your downline and that's what AMWAY is about.
