How hard it is to trust again the person who broke your trust? / myLot

i find it really hard. once my friend betrayed me and she said sorry for what doing what she did that really hurt me. but even though i have forgiven her, for me i still have not given her the trust i once gave her. it's just so sad. how about you? is trust easy to regain? why or why not?

It is very hard to trust again. At least, it is for me. As you say, it is easier to forgive. But to trust again, one must also forget and I cannot do it easily. It doesn´t matter whether I´m very attached or not to the person. For me betrayal is the worst.

For me trusting someone is confiding in them for not doing anything wrong for me. If they break the trust, I can't trust them anymore... because trusting is the belief that they are always reliable... for me at least.

I can never forget that one time this person broke my trust. I'll not keep grudges in my heart, but this trust will always be in my mind no matter what. I'll always have doubts with this person though he already changed because he already broke my trust.

No, it is very hard to give back your trust to someone who betrayed you. I will forgive the person, but it won't be the same anymore. I will not trust that person anymore.
