United airline, customer service just awful

Besides mylot, I will write a review against United airline customer service on other websites as well. Their service just horrible, and I couldn't stand the way they treat customers in check - in. This morning, I drove my parents to the airport, and I also take them to the check - in desk to get their e - ticket. This United personnel who did our check - in just gave us some unfriendly tone, and grimace all through the check - in process. It was like she is above us or something. I almost want to start a verbal fight with this b*tch if she go advance to give us those unfriendly manner. My parents are paying passengers, and they shouldn't be treated like that. An advice from me, although United Airline is a full - fare airline, they should re - train their staffs on serious customer service. Especially this black lady this morning, she should not be in the front serving the customers; obviously she wasn't really want to help us at all. Shame on United airline.

Personally I have heard many stories that this Airline is in trouble financially and that could be part of the stress in their employees. But personally there are times as with anyone in the Customer Service field that is either having a Bad day or needs to be as you say retrained and be a little nicer. If she was really that Bad you need to make a complaint as that is not right. I know many times when I get Bad service from somewhere I have complained and usually get an apology as well.

There must be a place where you can file a complaint. I´m sure that airlines understand that they cannot lose pasengers because they have bad and rude employees. I would have told her that it was her duty to be nice or else

In the past airlines had proper looking tickets these days the customer is expected to print their own e ticket. That practice is hard for elderly people that are not able to use the Internet. The check in staff members should smile and speak in a pleasant tone of voice. The check in lady acted in a horrible way so I feel sorry for you and your parents. United Airlines sounds awful. Last year I flew on Iberia Airlines and it was very bad indeed. I had missed connections due to their lateness. They didn't say they were going when the plane had been on the ground for two hours. All of a sudden it took off. They lost three items and the rest of our check in luggage was delayed.
