Gambia - the Smiling Coast of Africa

Just back from a brilliant trip to Gambia. Pity it was only for ten days - but I'll be back for sure. If you're into wildlife and birdwatching - it's for you. If you're after history - it's for you. If you just want to lie on the beach and take in the rays - it's for you. If you're into good food and great entertainment - it's for you! I just love this little country on the West Coast of Africa. Gambia is the tops. You ever been to Gambia? Tell me about your trip and give me some tips for my second visit next year.

It was lovely that you really enjoyed your visit to the Gambia in West Africa. I love topical destinations with white sandy beaches and green palm trees. I know many of the hotels have outdoor swimming pools and day trips up river are offered. I am keen on seeing wildlife and bird life. I worry that malaria is present there but it sound excellent there. I imagine it has cheap prices. The tourist revenue helps the poor people that live there.
