Hello fellow mylotters! I just want to ask if who of you already watched the movie or just the movie trailer of the movie THE ROAD. I say already watched because it was first shown here in the Philippines last year. And now, it will be shown to North America by May. THE ROAD is a psychological-horror film produce by GMA Films, Philippines and directed by Yam Laranas. Wondering, how it was brought to AMERICA? Well, it is not the typical Filipino horror movie. For the fact also, Yam Laranas is the director of the horror movie also SIGAW which has a Hollywood Remake entitled THE ECHO which he was also the director. In addition, it is the first time that a filipino horror movie was comercially released internationally aside from having only special screenings for few cinemas in the past year. Another one, it also became the most popular movie trailer on the most popular list of movie trailer in iTunes. Do you think it will hit the people of America? Well, it will have also a special screening in Singapore and a 2nd screening here in the Philippines both by May. First time in history indeed for Filipino movies, will be shown to over a hundred theaters in America, and a 2nd screening.Not usual.
