What does it take for the Lakers/Nuggets to win the series?
The lakers will win the series if they utilize their big men to the fullest. They have the twin tower combination of Bynum and Gasol in their front line and they should take advantage of their size. Kobe Bryant should have at least 20 points every night and get help from other players especially from the two big men. Ramon Sessions should do his job as a point guard and use his speed. The biggest threat for the nuggets is Ty Lawson because of his speed. The Lakers should contain Ty Lawson.
The nuggets will win the series if they use speed to their advantage. They have quick players who can make their own plays and shots. They should have more fastbreak points and easy baskets under the paint. Javale Mcgee will be the one who will defend Bynum so I think he should focus more on defending Bynum and getting him out of the paint.

It seems that Lakers took advantage of their hulks and the speedy point guard. Despite my zealotry to L.A lakers, I do think lakers can sweep Nuggets in the first round at the bottom of my heart. We will see.

Thanks for commenting! I don't think though they can sweep the nuggets. The nuggets have Javale Mcgee and Ty Lawson which are the biggest threats to the lakers. Maybe it's a 4-1 series, with the lakers winning.

I think both of us did not expect such a tough series, huh? We have to acknowledge that Kobe is not longer who he was. To some extent, we should feel lucky that Lakers were not swept by Thunders.

Yeah. There should be some player movement in LA. Expect a new team of the Lakers in the next season. For sure.

We all know that right now, Lakers are ahead 3 games to 1. It is very evident how tough Lakers is especially if their big men gives an A-game. For the Nuggets, they need to play tough defense to Lakers in order for them to win. Though it's hard but player-to-player comparison, they are just outclassed. The way I see it, Lakers will win game 5.

Yeah. It's hard for them to beat the Lakers with that kind of firepower. They have to do something to prevent the big guys from getting points and rebounds. Bynum and Gasol are a pretty lethal combination of big man. The Denver Nuggets big man should have contain these two seven footers. I think in defending Bynum, only Mcgee is capable because he is athletic and long. But so far, he's been very unproductive.
I also see the Lakers winning game 5.
