What is the best way to make money if you're not a good marketer?

Last september, I met a really great guy. He and i share many of the same interests, and he doesn't care that I'm blind, which is really awesome. The problem is, he's German, and lives in Germany. We've been emailing and talking for the better part of eight months, and I would really like to travel to meet him and his family. I've tried Affiliate marketing before, but as my disability has me on fixed income, I've found that i just don't have the money to suitably advertise my affiliate links. I've tried surveys, but I don't qualify for most of them. I've tried P.t.C. and P.T.r. programs, but they don't really make a lot of money, and in order to track cheaters, many are employing nonaudible captchas, which means I can't use them anyway. I even tried greening, like with Project Payday, and I couldn't get the sites to recognize that I'd signed up for an offer, even after I had. Does anyone have any suggestions for something that I can do to make some money that is real, not a get rich quick skeme, and something that you don't have to have a lot of money to do?

Um ... You said that he doesn't care that you're blind? Do you mean actually blind as in 'I can't see'? :\
The best way to earn, easy, is probably by entering threads and articles on this website. It goes faster than surveys, as they have to confirm many things before they 'pay out'.

Yes, i mean blind as in I can't see. I use a screen reader to access the internet and my computer. I've been totally blind from birth.

Hi rockerangel,
If you are willing to put the effort in and enjoy writing there are free lance jobs you can find on the internet. I know textbrokers is a writing job and you need to take a very simple test to become a member. It is free and they offer an array of jobs you can do. I also heard chacha is also a writing type job, but that you do research type things I believe and that also is free to sign on. I hope these are helpful. They are not high paying depending on your abilities but they are legit and do pay.

Welcome to Mylot. What an amazing story. I'm really fascinated with the fact that you are blind and yet able to communicate here on line. That is so cool and I honestly can't imagine how it works. That would make for a great discussion topic I think.
As for going to see your boyfriend, hmm...the internet isn't the best place to search for lots of money. Do you have family that could help you? Could your boyfriend help you? Or better yet...could he come to you? I get a little sketchy when I hear of a woman going out of her element to meet some guy that she met online. I have a friend that used to do this stuff and I can;t tell you how many times I rescued her.

It is amazing that you use something special to use the Internet that is suitable for blind people. So you have been blind since birth and my disabled son is in a wheelchair. It is a lovely that you have met a German guy and you two have been emailing each other for the last eight months. You should look into which is the cheapest airline traveling from your home country to Germany. Frankfurt and Munich have international flights. It really depends which part of Germany he lives in. My Lot is a place to earn money but the earnings are simply a bonus for me. A couple of years ago I found a well paid story writing site but then it stopped being as great as it had been. Good luck with earning money on My Lot.
