For the longest time; my shift was 5AM- 3PM. It is pretty nice but given an opportunity to choose scheds; I pick the 10PM-7AM out of more earning opportunity.
Now changing and adjusting for this scheds; it is pretty confusing and hard for me to wake up. It really gives me that mind"fact"..and my eating preferences has been disrupted. I really hate it.
Any suggestions for those mylotters who has a flexible sched as well on how to deal with this drastic schedule change. I admit it; I'm sooo dumb to overlook this problem of change scheds before choosing it.

I did the reverse recently but not quite so drastically. I've wanted an early shift for as long as I've worked for my employer. Finally got what I wanted. My former shift was afternoons and evenings. It has been hard to adjust. One thing that I find helps is to keep the same hours when I am not scheduled to work. No magic bullet though. I've been on this new shift for a month and I'm still yawning for the first couple hours.
