beef stew meat ideas?

I found a good deal on beef stew meat BUT outside of making beef and broccoli and beef stew I can't think of what else I could make. I may have enough ingredients to make beef and broccoli tonight for dinner. But I surely don't have the time for beef stew as I make mine in a slow cooker and it's after noon. So what else would you make with beef stew meat that isn't an all day process?

I normally make some hearty egg noodles - the thicker ones and serve it together. Yum! Wish I had some now. How did it turn out?

It should be tender enough for stir fry if you slice it across the grain. Add onions, mushrooms and carrots to your broccoli along with the stir fry beef you've made.

If you are talking about the beef that is pre-cut into chunks for stew...you could cut it into smaller pieces, fry it and add taco seasoning to it and make meat for tacos and burittos. Or cook it this same way (without the seasoning) and add it to Hamburger Helper or to Mac and Cheese or get a beef gravey and just put it over bread, then the gravey and have a open face beef sandwich. Or..chili... use your slow cooker too, but cut it small as for the burittos and it'd make great chili meat. You have me hungry now! I like doing things like that and just cook once and have meals for 2-3 days!

Just had another thought...how about shish-ka-bobs? That chunk as is would be the perfect size for the skewer...just add couple vege chunks and you got a nice meal!

I actually only make "beef" and broccoli with venison. I have replaced almost all of our beef with venison or bison and some moose when I can get it. I use stew meat for my kabobs on the grill marinated.

when i have stew meat i tend to make stew more often than not. I also find that I will cut it up into thinner strips and make a stir fry I really like to make "goolash" (cook up the beef, add onion salt and pepper. then put a can of mushroom soup over it to cook) and serve it with egg noodles. I will also cook up the stew meat in the slow cooker and rather than doing stew I'll make a sweet and sour sauce in the slow cooker over the meat. then serve with rice and peas.
