There is no notification about comments to your discussion but you can check how many comments you have in your discussion by doing to your homepage and at the bottom of the page you will see your list of discussions you have created and the number of comments you have.

There is? Well I checked the messages but all I can see are notifications about the tasks I have completed and few messages from friends. I checked my gmail account but I see nothing from mylot. What email notification you are talking about?

Yes, as long as you have your notifications turned on, you will get notifications when anyone responds to one of your discussions you have started, as well as any of the discussions that you have responded back too.

That's how I started too and I think it helps a lot. I read a lot of discussions and responded to some. I kind of waded in slowly. The more you get to know people, the more comfortable you'll feel. Won't be long before you feel right at home. The real key is to just have fun and not focus on the money and the money part will just happen.

You can go here:
http://www.mylot.com/nr/editNotifications.aspx
and set your notifiers to 'on' so that (when there are no glitches) you will know when someone responds on your posts.
You will know automatically when someone on your friend list starts a new discussion because when you add them the notifier by default is set to 'on'. You can alter it by going to your friend list if you prefer not to be informed.
