At present I am busy with article writing. However, I am not able to earn a lot of money like others , only peanuts. What would be the ideal article site to earn a lot of money for submitting articles? I would welcome your suggestions on this and also appreciate your site list here . I need sites where article can be submitted as per the client's request. I don't want to involve bidding feature. I need site where clients request article directly.

Hi Manasha It took me almost two years to find the right sites through trial and error. If you are impatient, you won't succeed. My favorite site is Experts Column, then Bukisa, my Lot, Red Gage. In less than two months I am at $9.54 on ExpertsColumn. I write for Knoji also but they are quick to punish you if you don't strictly follow their rules. I have two articles with them. I have to wait ten days before I can write for them again. I guess it is a good way to make a writer think.

I see that you are in India. You possibly have heard of Triond which many international writers are on. There is a lot of mixed opinions about Triond. Many writers are unhappy with the site while a few are satisfied. It is easy to write for and get published on but they pay low. However, if you can get 100 plus articles on the site, I think that it might be possible to make a few dollars every month. Another site you might look into is Helium which some writers are very happy with. I do not know if it is open to Indians. What sites are you trying to write for?

If I remember correctly, Helium is not open to residents of India. ExpertsColumn and PenStars are, though (and I think Bukisa is, too).

Spike, congratulations on getting your own site going. I have looked at it. I have not joined it yet because I am very busy with my "real" job and can not keep up with all my online sites as it is. I wish you the best of luck and plan to keep my eye on it.

I have been submitting articles since 2008. I of course work full time as well and dont have the time to stay on top of writing. If i get one article per month im glad LOL. its very time consuming and if you want to do it full time and work hard at it great because you really need to submit upto 30 to 40 articles a month and that is hard to do but i wish you all the best of luck doing it and making money doing this. I do this on yahoo voices which used to be yahoo contributor and before that it was associated content. Hope you have the best of luck and happy mylotting.

I began writing for Associated Content last July and was enjoying limitted success. But since the change to Yahoo Voices, I am having a lot of difficulty getting my content published. Beginning in October, I no longer was offered upfront payment. However my articles still got published. That would change in December. Since the official change to Yahoo Voices, I have only been able to get three articles published and more out and out rejected. Have you had any problems since the name change?

Online writing only pays peanuts, I agree with you. I still have to know a site that pays big. Writers need to produce many in order to get paid by cents. It is really pathetic, don't you think so?

Disagree. You're just targetting the wrong clients/sites. Like every kind of work, the more effort you put in, the better the rewards - but, like every kind of work, it takes time and energy (and a lot of dedication) to earn well!

I think you should just stick to mylot for now since you can earn more money here- just get referrals to earn more. You can get your family members as referrals..
