What's a good way to more Active Friends

I'm about to blow a lot of people's minds here, a vet is about to ask what is normally considered a "newbie" question lol. When I first started being active in Mylot, I added a lot of active friends through just going through the discussions I started, and reviewing the profiles of the people that responded. If we had a lot of similar interests and/or they had a lot of started discussions (I didn't not send if they didn't have any or only a few discussions) and sent a friend request. For years after I could depend on a number of discussions to come through my email each and every day to file through and respond, giving me a great opportunity to stay active. But over the years the active friends I've had have dwindled. I was noticing this today as I didn't get a single discussion notification all day. The way the Friends list is set up, it truly isn't practical for me to go through and weed out the friends who are no longer active. (especially since that list exceeds 375 friends) So...outside of starting new discussions *hint-hint* what are some other tips that I can use to add more active friends? I really miss being active here at Mylot as I did when I first started...give me a reason to be here every day again!

Why wait for notifications and friends to come to you? Just answer questions and pose questions and write. There is much to write about and you can create new interests to continue writing. I've just been with MyLot about three weeks now and have $3.38 cents; this is beside my writing for other sites where I have another few dollars, so $18 in all. I am aiming hard for $30 a week.

Check at mylot the posts your friends started. If you answer their posts, maybe you will have them answer yours. Check at their profile if they are active. Some good friends of mine have left mylot and I donĀ“t know what has become of them.

Well, from time to time the notifications do not send out like they are supposed too, so personally for me, it often depends on what mood I am in as to how I will check my friends to see if their are New discussions that I have missed. You could always go thru your friends list, and check the 10 discussions on their first page and see if their are discussions you might have missed you are wanting to post back in.

Well I'm guilty of not being one of the more active of your friends too. But when I do get a chance to be on, I like to see who responded to my discussions, respond back to them, and then go to their discussions and respond to them. It helps to figure out at least some of your friends that are keeping up with the site.

Well, even I'm still always receive notifications. But, I rare to opened cause I prefer to watch it on my homepage in mylot. Cause I could see what interest this discussion and what the title. Don't think too much cause that will slow or even hold you.
