Hello there fellow myLotters! Earlier, I was so shock when I received an e-mail from PayPal that they had blocked my account. I just calmed down and try to think of it as a scam or it might a hacker's tactic so that they can took my money on PayPal. Will PayPal block my account just because isn't verified?

I think this is scam or something because I haven't verified my PayPal account and it's 2 years old.

Yes, it is. But i think you should consider verifying your account since it will not be limited to sending and receiving transaction and your account would not get limited or frozen simply.

If you don't verify your accounts for more than three months they will delete your account. verify you email address, your bank account to conform your identity , thats enough you did.

nope I had my account unverified for 2-3 years and I've verified this year. Probably you mean if it is inactive and unverified.

You should verify your account if you don't want to have any troubles with. Verified accounts aren't blocked that easily.

It can be a phish email or it can be true. PayPal can suspend an account, verified or not, until you give them the details they want. The money in your balance is blocked for a maximum delay of 6 months -- at least in Europe, where it is forbidden by law to block an account for more than 6 months --, but you will have to link a bank account to your PayPal to withdraw it. Log in your PayPal account directly from their site -- and not with a link provided by this email, if there is one -- to control if your account is restricted/suspended or not.

I think it's a phish email. I logged into my account and there was no warning message.
