I dreamed my sister crashed her own wedding!

So I dreamed my sister was getting married but to someone who WASN'T her real-life fiance. The groom is someone I don't know at all (A fictional dream-character). Our home church is decorated with flowers, and packed to the brim with people. I'm the maid of honor. My sister seems happy, absolutely giddy and bubbly, and looks lovely in her wedding dress which within the dream I know she made herself. The music starts, and the wedding party all walks down the aisle one by one to meet the groom at the altar. My sister walks down the aisle, and when she reaches the groom she remains smiling and holding her bouquet while the music plays. And the music continues to play. The audience begins to chatter as though nothing is wrong here, and we're merely taking a short break from the ceremony.
Then, my sister's rightful fiance comes barging into the sanctuary. No one in the audience seems to notice, but my sister does and she immediately stops smiling. He stops roughly four feet from the altar and talks to my sister. I can tell from their faces that they're having an argument but I can't hear what they're saying over the loud chatter of the audience. Finally, my sister shoves her bouquet in my hands, grabs her rightful fiance by the elbow and starts dragging him out of the sanctuary.
"Give me a minute." she tells me.
The audience quiets down, and the faces I can distinguish among them appear confused. The wedding party looks to me.
"Umm... the bride would like a minute with her ex." I announce.
The audience's chatter resumes. I fiddle with the bouquet and nervously watch the clock. When more than a few minutes have passed, I hand the bouquet off to the best man, hike up my dress, and go running down the aisle to find my sister. She's not out in the hallway. I run down to the entry doors, and find my sister eagerly bunching up her wedding dress and jumping into our bright-yellow car while her rightful fiance hold the door open. I call out to them, and her rightful fiance sees me and immediately races around to the driver's seat. I rush after the car, but of course it speeds away before I can reach it. My sister looks back at me and smiles, waving at me as the car drives out of sight.
I return to the sanctuary, in a state of shock. The audience quiets as I walk back in.
"The bride has run off with her ex." I announce.
My comment is met by stunned silence. With a sigh, I clamber up into the audio booth and start playing the song "Crashed the Wedding" by Busted. The audience and the wedding party laugh, and we all start dancing and having a good time. I have a thought that my sister absolutely adores this song, and she might have set the whole thing up so it could be "their song".
I woke up laughing. I had to tell my sister immediately, and she thought it was hilarious too!
Have you ever had a dream that involved a crashed wedding? Was it funny?

I really enjoyed reading this. What an odd but amusing dream! I used to do a bit of interpreting of my own dreams. If this were my situation I would think that maybe it was to mean there'd be a separation but a reconcilation! Glad your sister found it to be amusing.
Do you think some of the planning stress has passed to your shoulders and your subconscious is making a joke of it?

I'm glad you found it amusing! I'm not into dream interpretation myself, but I find dreams pretty entertaining.
Well the wedding is quite a ways away, so the planning that's been done so far has been stress-free. My subconscious could be making a joke out of it though. I wouldn't put it past my subconscious to joke.
