I know that there are many online shoppers here. Are there any tips that you can share for those people like me who is planning to shop online for the first time? Well, i just want to buy a brand new one, probably on ebay if i will continue my plan. Haha. However, if we try to think, i am from the Philippines, and if i will buy something from other countries, i think i will have to pay for the shipping fee, right. And if that is the case, i am paying a higher amount just than that of buying one here in the Philippines. Don't you think so?

You are right, buying online, you should add a shipping fee, and the total price is may expensive than if you buy in your country. I think better you buy it in your country if they sell it in there to save money. In case you cant find it in your country, you can find and buy in on ebay.

Actually, what i am planning to buy is available in our country and also available on ebay however i find it much cheaper on ebay, but the shipping fee makes it more expensive.

If total price +shipping is more expensive than its price in your country, better you buy it in your country. Many problems may raise when you buy from Ebay such as wrong seize, color, late delivery, etc..

Hi erjnsimon I would advice you to prefer buying from your own country. That's because if there is some problem in the product you ordered, i.e., if you are not satisfied with the product, you can easily get it replaced. In case of other countries' products, it may take more time comparatively. And yes, as you said, you might end up paying more than the price in your country. So be careful and Happy Shopping. Good Luck. :)

I have bought a few things lately from ebay and I will tell you how I search if it is a good offer. First of all, you should have an idea of the price in your country, maybe it is actually cheaper as you said. Some sellers on ebay have free or low price shipping, so in total (including the item price and shipping fees)you will probably find it in a lower price than in the market. If you select your country you will be able to see if the item can be shipped to Philippines and exactly how much you will be charged for that. Good luck :)

If you go on ebay, I would advise you to look for the reviews of the seller, because if it's really bad, definitely they are a scammer (like they send stuff which don't work or torn products or if it's about brand names, they send a knockoff), look for the prices, examine the pictures (the more amateur-looking the pic, it could be the better, because everyone can download stock images from the original brand's site... of course, it's mor important if it's a more expensive product, because 1 dollar ring is okay, if it's not the best quality ever). Also, save every mail you get from ebay and the seller, like shipment notification, because if it gets lost in the mail, you need proof to get it sent again or a refund.
