How do you show love to a child who has been 'inappropriately' touched in the past, knows of the ramifications of the actions, but is 'now' loving it (being inappropriately touched)? Mylotters, if this child is yours (or a relative of yours) how would you handle this situation?

By accepting the situation, by not touching, hugging and respecting it's privacy. Love can be showed by words, gestures, a look, in so many ways, you really don't need to touch. Act normal since there will always be kids/people who like to be touched, others like it less or not at all. If you find it normal trust will come (back). Time will tell and can heal a lot.

speaking kind words is a good start. Appreciating and rewarding with sweets is also good. try not to remind the child about the incident and let them play with other kids so tha this will be forgotten very soon. I hope I have helped.
