I am quite sad about i, but it is my fault since i did not do my very best... I just computer my grades and I didn't make it by a few decimals..
Now I won't receive honors when i graduate.. why are they so strict anyway.

is that how your school strict in giving honors? In our school whether you are in the dean's list of not as long as your general weighted average (average grade from freshmen till you graduate) is still within the requirement, you can be considered as honor upon graduation.

Your school is really strict when it comes to honor students.
Just what I said our school will only consider the general weighted average. I just remember that some of my classmates got and incomplete grades but still graduated with honors because their average is within the prescribed to be an honor. As long you don't have any failing grades you can still run for honor.

yes, they are quite strict. with grading and most stuff..
It is really hard to continue being an honor student and be one in the final graduation, i am not even very confident of it now..
Some people have bad years or semesters, so they should just consider the GWA..

I think you should not worry too much about it. The competition to get to the rankings, as you know, is very tough and sometimes, our ebst efforts doesn't get translated to that. I think you worry too much about rankings. I did too when I was in the same situation but now, it really doesn't matter anymore (but I still think about it from time to time). you should be able to 'move on' from this issue because the next step is what matters now.

Yeah, it was just devastating for me since i have been an honor student since i was little and this will be the very first-- i feel like i disappointed my parents..
It doesn't really mater that much to me, it's just tha i want my parents to be happy and proud.

I know some people who were not in the best classes but were still smart, the only problem was they were quite lazy and influenced by bad friends and company.
